ordered on the app...20 minutes later, no drinks, had to ask 2 different members of staff for them before we were pointed to where they were sat on the bar. food came before the drinks, very annoying. standard wetherspoons food. womens toilets are absolutely disgusting though, i witnessed female employees pick up some toilet roll from the floor and then sign the cleaning sheet as if she had done actual work. worst wetherspoons ive been to, wouldnt really recommend unless desperately hungry.

Took my 2 teens for lunch today and couldn't fault it. Ordered at the table and within minutes had our drinks. Not too long later out came the food. One all day brunch, one chicken and side salad and one burger and chips. All were lovely but my son especially enjoyed his burger saying it was delicious. I love the chicken and salad as I'm trying to be good but it's also really tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient. All round good service

We cleared our table and ordered food. We were told staff are unable to say if a meal is gf in case they make a mistake. Salad was small and dry and I had to return my crumble as it was over microwaved and looked like a road accident. Barmaid in green dress was polite and apologised. Manager who did my refund did not offer a replacement or alternative slammed til roll down and said I love my job today. I felt sorry for her as she looked stressed. She then apologised. Shame your staff are not supported as its a nice pub

Very bad service. Sat outside with our dog. Ordered drinks on app. When arrived told we were not allowed to sit outside with our well behaved dog. There are no signs saying no dogs allowed. Have never known a pub or cafe to not let people sit outside the front with their dog. Very disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone terrible service.

A very busy pub with a real mix of customers young and old. Drinks are reeasonably priced and its a great place to finish off a night after a nearby restaurant or Cinema. Plenty of bar space, and bouncers to keep it all safe.

Fair play to the Manager She was working really hard. As for the rest of the staff, I expected more smiles and a warm welcome. Maybe they do things differently than we do in the Midlands.

Jesus christ, what did I just put in my mouth...... Cold chips and a lukewarm burger.Thought I'd give place the benefit of the doubt.I don't really like eating at weatherspoons because I value my health. But Andovers weatherspoons is like a Michelin starred restaurant compared to this place

Great place if you can get a table. Had 2 large mixed grills, upgraded 1 with 8 bits of scampi, pint of Stella and a double vodka and coke. For £24 you can't go wrong, food was lovely!!

Located at a wonderful place with plenty of inside and outside seating but overall service and quality of food was bad. Even kids felt the difference in food and service. So far worst Wetherspoon experience among so many outlets we have visited. Very slow table service, staff at till wasn’t polite, helpful and seems burdened with work. Toilets were stinking dirty

As with all the Whetherspoon pubs the standard of The Angel is not a surprise. The service is fast and efficient but the Table 85 we sat on was greasy and unclean and sticky to touch. Our empty beer glass provided with the can of Budweiserwas so cloudy and unclean that we could not see through it! The food was well cooked and nicely served.
