We were a group of 4, each having different dishes & all were really good. Extensive menu with pub classics & more unusual dishes such as venison. Comfortable setting with a restaurant & separate bar areas. Friendly staff, recommended

Just returned after holding a Wake following my Mother's funeral. Excellent service, and the buffet selected was superb. Thoroughly recommend.

What a lovely pub. Food was delicious and didn't cost the earth. All the staff were really friendly and super attentive even when it got busy. I can't wait for summer to enjoy a beer in the garden whilst the kids play on the jungle gym. Huge thumbs up!

We had an excellent supper here. Fairly premium prices for a pub, but everything was freshly prepared and delicious. My haunch of Hampshire venison was highly savoury and went down very well. Judging by the empty plates there were no dissenting opinions.

This is one of my favourite pubs. Lot of character here. Tucked away off the beaten track in North Waltham.Bar area is dimly lit and cozy, foxes-a-plenty on the walls. ^_^Rothaus by the pint 🍺 Rare!Food is glorious. Great pie in particular. Puddings are fantastic but change - Maltesers parfait was so good 😻Great to visit if you’re staying at nearby Forest Holidays.

Excellent Sunday Roast and desserts. Great service and food arrived quickly. My only gripe is it's not really wheelchair friendly at the roadside, with a steep concrete path that is broken up a little at the bottom by the road.

Had a great time with my family at the fox, the lamb shank was amazing followed by some sticky toffee pudding. Very clean and professional can't wait to go back.

Gorgeous pub if you're looking for a countryside escape! Steak shortcrust pie was really good, as were the ale choices
