Great food, great service, lovely decorated pub, friendly staff, dinner and breakfast were great. They accept motorhomes with no charge as long as u eat and drink in the pub. Will stay here again. Perfect place to visit

Absolutely fantastic. Great service, AMAZING food. We stayed one night the room was clean comfortable, lovely bathroom. My daughter wanted pancakes for breakfast & although they didn't usually do them, the chef offered to see what she could whip up & they were best pancakes my daughter said she'd ever had. Nice little play area for the kids too. Really impressed would definitely stay again.

Had fish and chips and pork belly meal both dishes were amazing, well cooked, well seasoned, especially pork belly, really like the dijon mustard in the mash, and gravy goes really well with it. Friendly service and athmosphere. Will come again in the future.

We got drinks and food from here during our stay in Newbury and couldn't be any better place than here to dine in! Very welcoming and friendly staff, great range of drinks and delicious food, very cozy and detailed interior, plenty of nice spaces in the garden. Great vegan options available too! It is a true local jewel with the warmest touch, we will definitely come back here again!

Myself and my bridal party stayed here the weekend of my wedding and Tina and her team were absolutely fabulous! So accommodating, the rooms were great and all the food very tasty! Tina even very kindly made myself and my bridesmaids an early breakfast in the Sunday morning so we could eat before having to get ready. Nothing was too much trouble for them fantastic service can’t recommend them enough! Thank you!
