The Olive House in Basingstoke and Deane

The Olive house in Basingstoke offers beautiful atmosphere, friendly and accommodating people who ensure all your needs are met. The food was delicious, wholesome and beautifully presented. The homemade baklava is to die for! And if you're feeling more adventurous, a glass of ayran is a must!I'd definitely visit this family restaurant again. I recommend that you do too :)

Friendly staff, greeted us through the door. Served in plenty of time. Amazing food, great decor, olives as a welcome. Was a great place to go, we had 10 at our table no mis placed orders all food came out hot.

This is a great place. There is a great atmosphere here and the food is absolutely delicious. They seem to be especially good for birthdays here and are always happy to sing happy birthday and bring a small cupcake to you. I’d recommend the Malbec and the limoncello as drinks to have. I’d also say that the crumble and the mixed kebab are also delicious. The place is clean and looks nice. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful restaurant, intimate and warm atmosphere, with very welcoming and friendly staff. Scrumptious food, very very tasty! Highly recommend for family lunch or dinner as well as going out with friends!

We ate here on Mother's Day and a late night Thursday. The food is amazing and also the surroundings. The waiters are excellent.I will definitely be dining with my family at your restaurant on a regular basis.My only complaint is there are no chicken wings on the menu. Please please add chicken wings as a main on your menu.

Went here for a meal before going to the theatre. Clean and really nicely presented restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Good food. Overall we enjoyed it and would go back. Only criticism would be lack of allergy information and vegan or vegetarian options on the menu. We had to park and walk to the restaurant as it is in the pedestrianised area of Basingstoke town centre. Not a particularly picturesque location but once inside we had a very good experience and therefore happy to recommend.

We've ordered several take-aways from the Olive House and have never been disappointed. We recently had a meal with the family in the lovely restaurant and had a fantastic time.The restaurant is lively and has a great buzz about it, staff are attentive but do not "hurry" you.It's a popular place so book ahead but you will be well looked after, served authentic Turkish food and will leave with a full belly and a smile on your face.Highly recommended!

My partner and I have been once before for a family birthday a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. We booked a table for tonight, and it was nothing short of amazing.The restaurant is small but the seats are very well situated. It is very clean with beautiful decor which makes it a lovely relaxing place to eat. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a waiter, and was quickly shown to our table.We had drinks to our table within 10 mins of being seated at well as complimentary olives and bread! We ordered our starter which were perfect every way, as was our mains. There really was no complaints at all.The staff were very friendly and everything about the restaurant was above and beyond. I will be returning and highly recommend it to anyone that wishes for a quiet and delicious meal out.Thank you to all at The Olive House.

First time visiting following good TripAdvisor rating. Warm welcome, lovely venue. Very attentive staff. Ordered a chicken main and wife had moussaka - both were sensational. Wife had cheesecake dessert and evidently that was good too. Service was quick too. Definitely one to try!

Really loved this place. Great food and atmosphere inside. The staff were so nice and really helpful making sure everything was okay for my allergies.They cater well for allergies and have an allergy book. We had grilled prawns and beef sausage to start then a shared mixed grill, we will be definitely be back soon!
