The Plough has so much to offer.1. There are so many interesting items to see around the pub. I advise people to take the time to see the many unique things which are on display. It is ideal for people who are intellectually curious.2. There is a lovely clock in one of the corners. It is lovely. I took some photographs of it as I found it to be extremely alluring.3. The baguettes are filling and nicely prepared. There is a good choice and the menu is handwritten, which is unique. As far as I know, they only do baguettes, but it is attractive as the portions are of a good size with great fillings. The bacon and Brie is really nice.4. The other customers at the pub were really nice and welcoming. They made an effort to be friendly and engage in conversation.5. We were greeted warmly and the woman who assisted us was really nice and helpful. She told us that she had just returned from Barbados, which was an excellent conversation-starter. We spoke about Caribbean holidays. I stated that I would recommend a You Tube channel, but I didn't get the chance to write it down for her. There is a channel called "Gladys and Kenny." They are a couple who have decided to travel the World. They make good-quality videos, but not in a bragging sort of way.I recommend this place. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

Dropped into the Plough in Little London after a great walk in the Pamber Forest with my family and George our lovely Jack Russell.Lovely craft beers and warm friendly atmosphere.Played bar billiards here in 1970 with our good friends Miranda and Mark Smith when beer was two and a half shilling a pint!!!Jerry Craven

If its a traditional country pub with good beer and no fuss, this is the place to go. Just great.

A rare gem of a country pub. Situated off the Basingstoke to Tadley road (turn off opposite the Queens College Arms) and head towards Silchester). In the hamlet of Little London is one of Hampshire's best pubs and you will want to return again and again. Even the first-time visitor is made to feel welcome in this 19th century drovers' hostelry. It still retains much of its old-style charm, but be sure to watch out for the low beams! Beautifully kept real ales are available either straight from the cask or served by handpump. Be sure to bring cash with you as The Plough does not accept cards - it doesn't even have a till! Food is simple but excellent and is in the form of a selection of warm baguettes with a variety of fillings which can be enjoyed either inside or in the quiet garden to the side. There is no piped music or video games but there is a rare bar billiards table.

Very good local pub with a friendly atmosphere. The decor is classic old school, the are 2 very nice, old looking wood burning stoves. The bar staff were friendly enough and the beers on tap were very reasonably priced, especially for a pub down south! We went on a Friday and it was busy, but I think that adds to the atmosphere, but turn up early to get a table if you're a big group.I will definitely be returning on the not too distant future and recommending this pub to friends and family.Oh, and it is cash only, so come prepared.
