Tasty food. Good service. Best onion Bhajis in Europe! No alcohol license but cannot fault the food and service.

An absolutely gorgeous meal! I've never yet had a bad meal from these guys unlike others within Basingstoke...

My salon is next door... but, despite being neighbours, my first choice is always Raj. I love the simplicity of the website ordering and delivery (when I am at home!!) Highly recommended.

Never had a bad meal from here food is always cooked lovely and large portions, if there are any mistakes or i haven't been happy the restaurant have always been happy to turn it around and are always so friendly and welcoming, the sit down experience is nice too obviously once covid is over i always recommended the Raj - Best indian in basingstoke for me!

I Urge you to not buy from this restaurant. We had to wait 2 and 3/4 of an hour for our takeaway. the food arrive stone cold. the Owner said that they had a lot of orders but are not allowed to say it will be more than 1 1/2 hours by just eat !!. I told him that he is profiteering from the current situation and should not accept so many orders. Again do not use this profiteering Restaurant they will ruin your plans !

Placed order on line tonight. It arrived 45 minutes late and cold. I called them prior to the delivery and was advised they were very busy and driver was near morrisons. The staff member I spoke to said they would call driver and get back to me. I never heard back and driver seemed rushed off his feet when he did arrive! Not very impressed tonight.

Twice now we’ve ordered via Just-eat, twice now the order hasn’t been picked up. So after waiting an hour and a half, as directed, no delivery. Staff ever so sorry and oh so generous offer of a free coke, but that doesn’t quite make up for a dinner being so ridiculously late. Discount offered on the next order, which seems fairly unlikely to happen, unless I want to have wait two hours again!

So disappointed. We've been regular customers for take aways from this business but this evening we had to wait over 2 hours for our meal to be delivered. At no point were we contacted to be informed of this delay & we phoned the restaurant 4 times! On the 4th occasion we asked for a refund as we had decided to abandon the meal. We were told that 'they could not authorise this' & were offered a bottle of wine or money off a future order!!! There needs to be a serious look at their customer care. We now feel extremely reluctant to use this restaurant again.

Not had a problem until today. Just got back from hospital after having my baby so didn't fancy cooking. Ordered our food to find the containers had not been shut properly on 2 of the dishes & sauce everywhere. The food was put on to plates & was freezing cold! Called to complain & the man on the phone was extremely unhelpful & just told us to re pack the food In the containers, even though everything was covered in sauce! No refund or discount offered, Raj you have just lost yourself a customer. Really disappointed in the service.
