"Known as 'Basingstoke's best kept secret', The Restaurant at BCoT offers quality dining at pocket friendly prices. The restaurant is run by BCoT's Hospitality and Catering students, giving them the opportunity to learn, practice and master skills in a state-of-the-art, industry standard kitchen. Preparing, cooking and serving fine dining food is an integral part of their course and it allows them to prepare for the exciting and challenging industry they have chosen to join. Many of our former students now own or manage renowned restaurants, such as Kitchen W8, and return to the college to share their experiences of the industry, and to offer nuggets of wisdom for our students to use when they have qualified."

A true hidden gem of Basingstoke! Tasty and beautifully plated food lovingly cooked by students and waited on by students too. A real pleasure in down to earth and relaxed surrounds. I loved the plaice starter, the sorbet, the salmon main and lemon posset - delicious! Superb malbec too. We dined here twice in 1 week and will be back!

A great place to have a fabulous meal at a reasonable price. Excellent service and beautifully presented dishes cooked by students, it was one of the nicest meals I've had in a long time. Wine also very good value. Will definitely be going back!

Yet another excellent evening!! We were here for a Christmas meal and were not disappointed 😃 The main problem with the menu was having to make your choice!!I eventually went with the three cheese tart, the goose and the treacle tart with stem ginger ice-cream and thoroughly enjoyed the surprise appearance by a mulled wine sorbet All thoroughly delicious and all meals greatly enjoyed by the whole tableThe students were very friendly and helpful, one of our party being diabetic couldn't have any of the deserts on the menu so they made her a lovely fresh fruit saladI'll be returning in January for the Burns night supper Always an entertaining and fantastic evening and very well attended One of those evenings you don't want to end!!Well done everyone for tonight, have a great Christmas 🎅

Wonderful Christmas meal with friends. Food and service were terrific. A big thank you to all concerned and any hotel or restaurant should be grateful to take any of these students onto their staff.

Arranged to have our access end of year party at the restaurant, they did afternoon tea for 30+ people, it was absolutely fantastic!! Food was delicious, service was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable! Thank you so much again!!
