The food was amazing as always for the last 15 years. It’s a shame but maybe there owners have changed. The service was awful. Once we paid and left, we were chased down the road and accused of not paying and dragged back to the restaurant. Once we proved payment there was no apology and we were just ignored and had to leave. Never had a dining experience like this. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Food was as good as always. The service however really let it down this time. After our main course it was 20 minutes and we finally got a dessert menu, after another 15 minutes of still not being served we just asked for the bill. It was such a shame as it was our Christmas meal out with our best friends and it spoiled the afternoon.

Great pizza and pasta. A little expensive on drinks but not too unusual. Prefer to eat in than take away though.

Very good food have visited this restaurant a handful of times now and can say the pizza is very nice. But also the Fillet steak quality was incredible.

Went there on a Friday night. The pasta and risotto was very nice. Unfortunately the 2 pizzas were burnt around edges. They did offer to replace without prompting but declined due to slow service and only burnt around edges.As stated service was slow. Arrived at 7pm but did not get main dishes until after 8pm. Restaurant was busy but main issue appeared to be take away service. There seemed to be a lot of drivers and people coming in for take away food. Near the end serviced improved, with desserts and coffees, as take aways went quiet. Asked for bill and had to chase up after nearly 10 minutes.I would recommend resolving service issue as it ruined experience and put me off going back.

One of the best pizza I have had in years. Please be advise: they do serve an "Italian" style. Nice thin base with fresh and crunchy toppings. Superb.

Our recent visits to Don Beni have been nothing but positive and memorable. The pastas arrive fresh and piping hot, with the waiter/waitress offering parmesan and black pepper which is a nice touch of service. I’m always pleased with their chilli oil as it has a good kick and I like a spice fix with Italian food! A good choice on the menu for vegetarians and well selected wine list. Be aware that the garlic bread is basically a small pizza, perhaps a little too filling if ordering a pizza for mains too- but very delicious! The service just a little too slow, especially considering it was quiet, on our most recent visit.

The best Italian restaurant I've been to in this country!!! It's authentic and traditional Italian cooking with a rustic and cosy dining atmosphere. I can't describe how delicious the food is, the wine list is really extensive too, and staff are friendly and welcoming. I've only been here twice because it's far from where I live but will be visiting as often as I can because it's honestly amazing!
