Great food. Service isn't 100% hence the 4 stars, it's not too bad but could do with a bit of work. Did I tell you that the food is great? Really worth visiting for the burgers!

Recent visit to this restaurant at lunchtime.Ordered nachos with beef & a burger for main course. The nachos were a staggering ÂŁ8.99 with the beef. I had great expectations especially given the price.Well I was clearly wrong, the nachos were terrible. Not only where they tiny in portion size and came with 3 little pots of virtually hardly any sauce, but they were very poor quality nachos. They look like a handful (and I mean handful) of them were put on a plate and put some cheese on top and thrown into microwave. My colleague had the non-meat version which was also a staggering ÂŁ7.99 for the same (minus the beef). They were all clumped together when trying to eat. It's a 1/10 for me on this starter, the most I've ever paid for nachos and they were terrible. ÂŁ8.99!! Get real, its a few crisps on a plate with cheese! The Big Dipper Burger was thankfully excellent, although there could have been a few more fries. No complaints with the staff or service, it is just the nachos! Beefeater need to relook at the price point on these and improve the quanity/quality of the dish.

Lovely family mealFrom the moment we walked in, Chris and his team were fantastic. We were a large group of 10 and looked after so well.Food was delicious too.

Food was great... but the real ale was very poor. First pint had sediment in so staff chamfer and yes the second pint had the same issue. Both pints was taken off the bill....

It was my sister's birthday yesterday and we went there for a meal. The food was delicious.I really can't stress enough how awesome the staff were, particularly the Manager (Chris I believe). We were made to feel really special. We will go back.

The lunch time chilli non carne was amazing and had spice to it however I regret getting the garlic bread over a desert as I could have done with something to south the heat and the garlic bread was not up to par with the meal.I also feel the price of lemonade was a bit higher than I would have paid if I'd known before hand.Still great service and good food so would go again and do recommend :)

Friendly staff, went for unlimited breakfast with friends. Was a little warm where we sat because heating was on and we were in front of the cooking area. But this was because there was quote a few of us.Breakfast was really nice, a wide choice of fruits, cooked breakfast, cereal, coffee/tea and fruit juices. Yoghurts and toast also available from memory.Really nice atmosphere and was a lovely place just to sit and chat and catch up with people again.

Very disappointed with food and cleanliness.Lots of tissues on the floor - we were their first customers on the day so looks like it hasn’t been cleaned from day before.Steak very average, Christmas special had no taste potato’s and beans were dry and tasteless like they’ve been heated in a microwave.I will never go back there which is a shame because location and deco is actually nice.

Didn't catch the guys name who greeted us but he was extremely friendly and helpful. Just clocked him greet someone who had been before and he remembered him and shook his hand which I thought was an extremely friendly and nice touch. He was about 5'10 with glasses. I'm a firm believer in giving praise when it's due.Other staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is good.Would definitely eat here again.(Breakfast 21/11/21)

Ample free parking on site for 3 hours. The inside is ancient, lovely old beams, old exposed brickwork, like a barn conversion. The food is very good quality, and great value at lunchtime with the 2 or 3 course set menu. Knocks the other chains for 6 in terms of quality.Spotlessly clean, hygiene station on entrance, screens between tables. Well worth spending a weekday here at lunchtime ÂŁ8.99 for 2 courses.
