Kams Fish And Chips in Bracknell Forest

Food is good and the rest of the staff are lovely and helpful, the British lady was sat not helping yet moaning about the staff and slagging them all off in front of customers who were waiting for food. Instead of being such a bit*h to the staff, why not help instead? Such a shame. I won’t be going back and the only reason is her!

We ordered our dinner at 6pm for delivery and still..........waiting at 8pm for a family meal do you want a laugh my family are still for dinner and now they have no order for us. So we have been waiting for over 2 hours and no dinner.

1 star because I cant give zero.I have been a customer of Kams for many years, but in the last few months the place has gone drastically down hill. I have given them benefit of the doubt and been back a few times, but sadly it seems to be getting worse.Don't get me wrong, the food is good, if you don't mind waiting. I'm talking 30-45 mins for chips. THEY MUST BE GROWING THE POTATOS.Then there is the customer service, or lack of it. The team are rude and short with customers, if people complain about the wait or an error they get snapped at by teenagers. The managers never step in and help. I had food missing from my order, which was read back to me and confirmed twice, when I questioned it they claimed it wasn't ordered. They just lie, no effort to appease a customer at all. They don't care at all which is sad as people that worked there previously were always friendly. I also ordered a can of coke and had to "wait for it to be cooked", that cheered up all of the people waiting at least.They also don't take cash, or give receipts which in 2021 is suspicious. AVOID!!!

The wait for simple fish and chips is now ridiculous. Hardly anyone waiting, but a 30 min wait is a joke. Never used to be like this.Food is good, and the only reason I wait...but no longerTried a few months later, and still just the same. Even ordered on phone, was told 25mins. Went in after 25mins...and then had to wait another 30 mins. Pointless even phoning ahead.1 star now. Don't bother

Really not happy with Kams the last couple of occasions Should never have to wait 45 minutes for takeaway ordered at counter, this was a few weeks ago.Today had to wait nearly an hour, it was very cold outside, when I placed order there were only 2 people inside shop, I saw at least 25 other customers collecting their food.I got so fed up I asked for my money back only to get my food 2 minutes later.Kams has really gone downhill in the last couple of months and as a regular customer I cannot see myself going there for quite a while.

Just had an amazing meal so fresh and tasty chowmein it was delicious not been to kams in years .My friend recommended Kams best chinese I've had in years thank you

Excellent food and service, staff is always welcoming and nice. Food quality and portion is great for the price.It's my regular and favourite take away place for a quick, convenient meal on a busy or rainy day or simply when I'm feeling too lazy to cook on a Sunday.Definitely recommend Kams Fish and chips take away. They are always busy which goes to show that their food is good and I'm always a returning customer. Please do visit them. My favourite is chips and curry or king prawn in satay sauce with king prawn fried rice. 😋

Did not expect to wait 30 minutes for my Chinese when the shop wasn't busy. Had to ask them again and out it came. Had obviously Been left on the side forgotten! Staff could not even be bothered to apologise. Food was cold and went straight in the bin. Will not be going back anytime soon

Glad we discovered Kams as it's become our go-to Chinese takeaway. Consistently tasty food - particularly loved the squid starter and the cashew egg fried rice tonight. Special mention to the delivery driver in the Guinness t-shirt, friendly chap!

After reading the reviews here on Google, I was looking forward to trying the food here. Service was good and the food appeared within 15 mins, which for a busy Saturday evening was good.Now onto the food it was piping hot and served in sealed containers.However I found the special fried rice and the beef chow mein really bland, and the curry sauce all we could taste was coconut, that would have been ok if we had ordered Thai style curry sauce.I appreciate that Chinese food is a matter of personal taste but this food was just too bland for us. As we are only visiting the area, we won't have a chance for a repeat visit.My last point is why oh why in 2021 is cash the only form of payment ?? In the current global pandemic cash is not the safest way to be paying for anything.
