The Old Hatchet in Bracknell Forest

Went here for lunch the other day. We were accommodated without having made a booking in advance. The food was delicious! The service was outstanding, we had a newborn baby with us and the whole experience was very pleasant. The outdoor seating area is very nice and the owner is a lovely lady. We would definitely go back.

Roast potatoes not cooked properly! Didn’t even eat them! Had to ask for more vegetables, as there was only enough for 2 and there was 4 of us! Crackling was air dried. You should get what you pay for!

Wonderful meal from start to finish. They managed to fit us in at short notice and the service from the staff was impeccable followed by the most delicious starters and mains. The pork scratching and arrachini balls are to die for and the duck and pork Tomahawk were delicious! Will definately return!

Such a lovely pub! The perfect cosy, country vibes. Our group went on a Wednesday for the wings and they were incredible - will definitely be going back again.

A great country pub, staff very courteous. With less than 10 minutes before closing the kitchen, we were happily accomodated with a fantastic Sunday Roast at a superb price, happy days, a big thank you to the chefs...

Amazing food and great atmosphere! Our fav pub in the area. We had chicken wings and burgers too but they looked so good and we were hungry so they didn't last long enough for a photo!

Food was absolutely delicious and faultless. Good value! If you want to come here for lunch you’re going to need patience. We were told the wait was 30/40 mins max and ended up waiting 1hr 10. It was then another 35/40 for the food. If they were able to improve on customer service they would be fantastic. Very disappointed there was no apology. Maybe reservations on Sundays would help with the wait time.

Fantastic service, turned up last minute on Mother's Day in hope of a table and all of the staff were helpful and friendly and we got a table. Food was amazing as always +2nd visit this time)
