The Winning Post in Bracknell Forest

Was a last minute booking on mothers day but Simon managed to find a little table inside with 2 comfy chairs the staff and service were excellent and the food was brilliant well worth a 2hr round trip

Visited on Mother's Day -originally had an outside table booked but the weather changed and we were accommodated inside. Simon and his staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and we can't wait to go again.

We went on a Sunday for my partners birthday. I’m a vegetarian so we had the nut roast. The food was incredible although the actual nut roast wasn’t the best one I’ve had. Couldn’t fault anything else!I would say that where we were sat we could hear a lot of conversation between the staff.

Lovely country pub, comfortable inside and out. Nice vibe thanks to landlord and friendly bar staff. If u want to relax in a country pub it's hard to beat.

Lovely friendly staff from the moment we checked in to when we left. Had a ground floor room which we had requested with outside access for our dog. Very clean and all essentials provided. Had dinner which was delicious and they brought a special treat for our dog for breakfast! Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay here. Accommodation was excellent, very spacious exceptionally clean. Everything we could need for our stay.Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.Food in the restaurant was excellent, all freshly prepared and cooked. Continental breakfast had great choices with fresh out of the oven croissants.We only stayed for one night, wish it could have been longer. Will definitely return for another stay.

We would recommend this place to anyone looking for well prepared food served by friendly welcoming staff. The fish pie was exceptional with large chunks of fish in a delicious stock.

We stay just around the corner from the Winning Post and have been here several times in the last few months. Initially we put off going because it looked super upmarket and pricey. I think that was just me being weird.When we finally did try it we kicked ourselves for not going sooner. All the meals we have had have been of a very high standard and pricing pretty average for food and drinks. The service has been great and the staff have always seemed friendly and helpful. A couple nice outside spaces and a characterful and well maintained classic pub on the inside.We have a fair bit of variety within walking distance and this is one of my favourites that I will keep returning to and that I thoroughly enjoy spending time at and being surrounded by good company.
