I booked a party of approx. 25 people for a birthday party recently, and we all absolutely loved the experience at Taste of Sahara! Sabri is incredibly helpful and well-organised, he helped me set everything up and reassured me constantly throughout the evening. The food was delicious, served hot and promptly. Everyone brought their own drinks of choice and it was all a very smooth process - thank you Sabri for making the process of organising the birthday party so much less stressful for me. We will be back!

We have been coming here for years. The food is the best here and the atmosphere is great.

Very warm and welcoming dining room. The gentleman who served us was very nice. The mixed kebab was delicious, as was the rice and salad. Tasty tzatziki. Great place overall.

Came here as a group of four, and ordered a selection of dishes. We had also brought a couple of bottles of wine from the nearby waitrose. Fantastic service, and quickly gave us buckets of ice for the wine. The food came quickly and were very large portions. Great food, and easy to keep on a budget due to the BYOB. Fully recommend.

My first visit but had been recommended and certainly lived up to that. Food very good and as the 5 of us had different choices it possible to see different dishes looking and tasting good and generous portions. Have to take in own alchohol but to my surprise they did not charge corkage nor charge for bottles of water on the table. So I thought it excellent value. Such friendly service too. A return is guaranteed.

One of THE best places to eat in Brighton. The food is awesome and also very Vegan friendly! BYOB which is always welcome and also makes this place amazing if you are on a budget. But where this place shines is the staff, fantastic, brilliant, attentive, funny, everything you want without bring too much. AN ABSOLUTE MUST SEE! YUM!

Lovely experience. Staff were super friendly and great, I have to be honest, the only slight let down was our food did not taste as amazing as all the review put it. I came in with an expectation of re-tasting the tagine from my marrakesh trip, it was lovely but not as flavourful.Would still recommend, but I hope my experience helps you set your expectation so you will enjoy your visit 🙂

Delicious Middle Eastern food in a vibrant and inviting setting. The owner Sabri goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend for a memorable dinner in Brighton!

Popped in looking for something different and exotic after visiting the beach. We liked the look of this place abs although it was late the owner checked to see if the chef was still available. He was and we were seated. We had a fun conversation and chat about dishes and I chose the fish out of recommendation and a tagine with some sides. The food was absolutely delicious, with flavours that reminded me of my visit to Marakech. My sea bass was cooked to perfection and served on a bed of salad and citrus fruits. The tagine was rich in aroma, taste and the chicken was so soft. Even the mint tea was amazing! The service was polite and lovely as well as the facilities being clean and comfortable. We had a great time and were so stuffed in the end.
