Agni in Brighton and Hove

Service was terrible, we waited over 3 hours for our food, they falsely claimed that they attempted to deliver the food, which obviously didn't happen. The man who answered the phone was grossly arrogant, unpleasant and uncivil to deal with, which made the whole experience much worse. I would never dream of speaking to a customer in the way that he spoke to me. If you choose to ignore this and order from this terrible restaurant, I wish you good luck but highly recommend that you look elsewhere as there are plenty of other, better options available. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Very good food. Generous portions, and all tastes freshly cooked.

A pretty decent curry every time. Always arrives piping hot and what I like most is that no dish comes swimming in oil/ghee.

Ordered take away here for collection, honestly the guy who took my order over the phone is so lovely and polite, picked up the food and got home, proper amount of food, tasty amazing and not greedy at all with the food ingredients, I would highly recommend, I even called them to thank them for the wonderful service and food. You must try them.

Ive ordered from every saturday for years. Food has always been of good quality. Its the delivery times that's the issue here. Ive ordered for delivery a.s.a.p and ive pre ordered for a specific time, but always late. Last night food took 2 hours to arrive from when order was placed - 40 minutes later than promised. Not even an apology when delivered!!Good food but be prepared to wait!!Update. Just eat offered me a refund - taste of india have refunded me £3.... on a £20 order which took 2 hours to arrive!

Ordered for our lockdown wedding anniversary meal as our usual place was closed. Literally the best takeaway we have had in Brighton! Arrived earlier than anticipated piping hot and there was so much we have had left overs for two further meals! Can't thank the chefs enough and won't be ordering Indian food from anywhere else in the future.

Great food and the portions were massive, everything was cooked to perfection and they even added a naan for free after we forgot to order it. Don't think I'll order from anywhere else.

Came recommended by many friends and definitely lived up to it’s name. Everything’s was so fresh and tasty, plus free delivery and rice included in both our curries. Staff were really accommodating for my nut allergy and food came in great time. Will be recommending to many people and will be ordering again.
