Expensive products, which can be bought in another shop for much better price. Even happens expired ones. Poor service. Definitely do not recommend.

Overpriced! Could buy these products a few times cheaper in another place. Also a quality compared to price is not outstanding.

Probably the best deli in Brighton high quality produce, tasty soups, rich food, great selection of sandwiches and a lovely friendly atmosphere. We drop in there for sandwiches to take to Preston Park for picnics. Highly recommend !!

I work in and about Brighton, but if i'm within travelling distance i always make my way to Arkwrights. Hot Specials are the one for me! Value for money, filling and different every day. X

Good products from the deli counter at reasonable pricing, but insane prices on other groceries. I popped in for a 155g tin of Glenryk Pilchards which are normally 40p in supermarkets. I understand that small shops cannot match those prices, but £2.99? Seriously?

A brilliant deli, the like of which has mostly disappeared from our streets - swallowed up by dull and boring supermarkets. The fresh bread (from Real Patisserie) is fab. I can no longer live without my daily chewy brown.

I used to like this deli... A few weeks ago I popped in on my way home to grab a banana for my baby and it cost me 0.75 p which I think is insane as usually get a bunch of bananas for a pound.Then last Saturday I went in to grab some take away coffees & this older lady who was behind the counter asked the girl behind me what she wanted. I thought it was a mistake so I started saying I wanted some coffees ,then she went: she was here before you.Well, I definitely did not push in... I turned around as I thought it was strange that someone at the end of the queue gets served saying she was in first.. The girl was from the flower shop next door as had a long grey apron on- that is why she got served first and not because they are watching who comes in first or second.. I found it very rude and very much doubt I will be going back again for anything...

A fantastic traditional deli and sandwich shop. Highly recommended if you're in the area, or just fancy a change from the high street £3 meal deals of late. Delicious sandwiches made to order in front of you in a shop which sometimes makes you feel as though you had stepped back to the 1930s.
