Excellent staff, excellent food (the feta eggs are to die for!!) and superb coffee! What more could you want from a local, independant!

A brilliant locally owned cafe. I can’t rate this cafe highly enough. The staff are warm, efficient and friendly. The food is consistently good, as is the coffee. I visit this cafe at least 3-4 times a week and have been doing so for ages. I was prompted to write this review after witnessing one of the staff patiently helping an elderly man with a Zimmer frame. The kindness and patience I witnessed finally prompted me to write this long overdue review. The cafe also accepts keep cups and uses proper glasses, china and cutlery when so much many others have used the pandemic as a reason to switch to single use coffee cups. Keep up the great work! 😊

Not what it used to be and not worth the money. Maybe 2 stars is harsh but compared to what Baked used to be before the pandemic, it feels as though it’s really not worth the money.A few years ago this place felt very special and a great place to have brunch. Now, it feels like the food is pretty much an over-priced Wetherspoons. But you’d be given more food at spoons! The staff are really lovely and friendly, I can’t fault the service at all. The food arrived very quickly and we got everything we ordered with no mistakes and it all tasted fine. But £50 for 2 medium sized breakfasts and a drink is far too much when you could get essentially the same thing for a lot cheaper elsewhere. The atmosphere doesn’t really make up for the cost of the food either. It’s fine, but you don’t really get the impression that the business really wants to go above and beyond. The smaller details don’t seem to matter like they used to.Overall an okay experience but when compared to what Baked used to be it’s not great. It just feels like any old Prosecco brunch place - nothing special. Sad to say I probably won’t be back again.

Lovely café with healthy options, nice service and good coffee. It was a great way to recharge batteries.

Had brunch here for the first time today. We were so surprised at how amazing the food was and great value for money! I really recommend the Halloumi Eggs or/and Huevos Rancheros. We will definitely be returning, I can see why it's so popular and always busy. I liked the option to order with a waiter or use a QR code. We chose to order with the waiter who was lovely. All of the staff were polite and attentive, even when we were sat outside and it was busy.

The food was nice, although there was quite a delay. Would give three or four stars if it wasn't for the 10% charge automatically added when using the app to order. A huge inconvenience for the customer having to scan the barcode and click the ingredients they want. Automatically adding a tip is wrong and unnecessary. Won't be going back.

Excellent breakfast. Good to charge your batteries in the morning. Now with COVID-19 the staff is not wearing a mask but you can feel safe due that they are following the protocols to do everything through your phone

·

Amazing food and drink! Sat outside. New covid protocol include scanning QR code for menu and track and trace. Had an amazing feta and eggs with chorizo. Friendly and quick service! Will be coming back soon
