Bella Napoli in Brighton and Hove

I have honestly never had a worse Italian. the servers rushed us threw everything and were just generally rude. The worst sin of all the food was just bad. The chicken was over cooked it was like rubber. The veggies were microwave in the bag quality, being both overcooked and somehow still raw. The cabonara was overcooked mushy pasta with cream and bacon. The potatoes were just raw and crunchy. The final sin was that nothing was seasoned, the chef clearly doesn't taste his food.If you like Italian that looks and tastes like it was cooked in the 70's from someone who has never been out of the county, this place is adequate. If your passionate about food go elsewhere.

Possibly the worst "Italian" food I've ever seen. You'll get better pasta at Pizza Hut or even Wetherspoons. I almost hope that the spaghetti came from a Heinz tin because if a chef cooked that they should not be allowed near a kitchen again. Dull, tasteless, lukewarm, under seasoned rubbish. You shouldn't go to an Italian and wish you choose chips over pasta. At least the staff weren't rude.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was very good, the pizzas were excellent, and I had a very nice Manhattan. Good choice of cocktails on the menu. the pasta that was served up to the table next to us looked good too, so that would be a decision made for next time. Will come again.

A lovely meal last night (Valentines day 2022). Everything tasted delicious, fresh and was well presented. A decent wine list too. Service very efficient, friendly and polite. Thank you to all of the staff, both front and back of house, for a truly enjoyable time and we look forward to dining with you again soon.

Authentic Italian restaurant. Friendly and accommodating staff . Traditional & good variation of Italian dishes to choose from, with their clay ovens making an exceedingly delishious pizza . An true to the Italian custom your portions are very generous. Price is pretty standard . Myself an my fiancee have been back many times an have never been disappointed. Bellisimo 😘

No need to go to Italy for Italian food, Napoli is as authentic as you can get get, I have been all over Italia, the food and the staff are the best

Came for lunch the other day, pizza was very tasty 🤤 Good atmosphere, attentive waiters, nice menu. I didn't like the coffee though, but the rest is good 👍🏻

We had food at what looked to be a nice restaurant with good ambiance. It was really busy which is obviously a good sign, not much interaction but got seated. After 10 mins we was asked to order but the server was too fast and gave us little time to talk or discuss, quite rude overall. The food was mediocre, I’ve had better at pizza express. If the waiter had been more attentive I wouldn’t have felt the need to write this review. Looks good however looks are not everything!

Italian restaurant run by an Italian. A great block who welcomed us himself. Served quick although the dishes seemed fancy with complicated ingredients. Wait wasn’t that bad. Location is great as it’s on main road although parking would be a challenge as it has to be in a parking plaza and with no lift you’d have to climb stairs up to 5 levels. Food was delicious and prices were okay according to the place. Overall great experience and definitely recommended.

The service here was very good, discrete and attentive. I felt we were interacted with just enough to feel catered to but not so much that we didn't feel we had space to enjoy our courses. The servers could have been a little more smiley but it is high season and I am assuming they were very tired.It is a lovely restaurant in a good location with a nice ambience in the day. The interior transports you to a different place, it has a real Mediterranean vibe to it which looked and felt very lovely in the Brighton sun. The tables and chairs are nicely spaced out from one another.The food was nice but I wouldn't say it was anything special. The dish we had is quite easy to produce and it did lack some flavour. I don't know if the other dishes would be the same.I think if the food quality improved then this would be a lovely place. I still think it would be a place I would revisit as I think the standard here is probably good for location and the price fair. I think generally most people will be happy with the food here.
