If you haven't tried the truffle arrancini, you should; the chef is brilliant! He's a nice vibe, one of the few places in Brighton you can actually dress for. Good selection of cocktails, too.

Lovely cocktails but the ventilation is not great. Probably will come only after the pandemic again. People who come here would be a bit weird too. Theft risk! Note: My 300 pounds worth vest recently got stolen last week. So yes theft happens

A regular at this buzzing oasis, or was until last night. Paid £35 for another round of drinks, used a tray to be able to carry the drinks. As always the place was really crammed, as I navigated my way through the crowd making sure people were aware I was constantly saying with a good volume “excuse me please” and many clearly heard me as they did move to give me space to pass by. As I was nearing the end of my tour a couple of ladies decided despite my chants to step backwards into my tray. The entire contents of the tray tumbled, I was covered in the contents of the glasses. My expectation was that they would offer a good level of customer service where such an accident happened, and at least offer to replace the drinks. I asked for the manager, a lady with dark hair claimed to be the manager. Explained what happened and was told “as drinks cross the bar we aren’t responsible” so basically tough luck! I wasn’t happy with that, the lady then went on to blatantly lie to me. Stated the CCTV showed I dropped the tray, a bare faced lie. I was stunned and said “how did you have time to even check CCTV and how about you show me” obviously calling out the lie rattled the “manager” who then said it was against the rules to show me the coverage, I wasn’t surprised being a complete fabrication. We all left and have now sought to find a new drinking hole that does believe in customer service and the value of goodwill gestures keeps customers coming back.Shame, we really liked this place and have been going there for years, but one bad experience like this is all it takes to lose customers.

Only popped in for an Irish coffee so can't comment on the food. Lovely atmosphere & attentive staff and I loved the theatrical toilets. Seen good reviews for the food so will definitely be back.

Was a last minute look for a place to eat. Saw bohemia and it had room for us on a Sunday. The place is like a tardis. Very nicely designed and comfortable. We sat down had a drink. The cocktails looked amazing. Ordered Sunday lunch and it was really good. Only thing I would say was it took a long time to get the food. But it was a nice meal in good company. Will be going back.
