Good local takeaway.... is how I reviewed it last time and I gave I 4 stars. But I've changed my mind.Its been good for several years and I've been a regular customer - pretty loyally I put up with the last two poor meals, wanting to give it a chance. But, now we've had 3 iffy meals in a row over the last few months.The ponir dishes, in particular, were inedible - I chucked them out for the foxes or gulls and they aren't interested. This was just a gluey, greasy mess of cheese.There's just far too many frozen vegetables in the dishes.It's a real shame it's gone down hill.

One of the best delivered curries in Brighton but please sort out the customer service, waited nealy 2 hours for my Friday night meal. Please just phone, we don't bite..

we were introduced to this place by a friend, who raves about it. he's right, it's utterly fabulous! an absolute gem of a find. lovely people, and the food is simply fabulous. old school Indian food (the best type), generous portions, reasonable prices. take away or delivery.

Quick, good quality, good portion sizes. Lucky to live nearby, always good. Chicken tikka masala and garlic rice are fantastic!

Ordered a chicken and mushroom curry after a heavy day of working and the quality definitely surpassed standards, providing healthy big portions of chicken in the curry sauce and rice that had been cooked to perfection. This will definitely now be my regular curry place.

A friend recomended Mumbai Express after we had been disappointed by our local takeaway. We are so glad they did. We have enjoyed excellent curries from Mumbai Express. Particularly their faal, which has a great depth of flavout as well as being satisfyingly hot.

Cannot give more than this 1 star.Two issues I noticed.1. Ordered Matar Paneer, but I in turn received cheese Matar. Full of only cheese, may be it was mozerella. Totally incorrect order and never thought cheese and paneer are same.2. Store is part of AMEX shop small, when I swiped the card - none worked. No AMEX card was successful when swiped. Amex customer service representative updated the merchant transaction didn't reach Amex and it is the merchant side problem.

We've been getting our curry here for over a decade and I've never found another take-away or restaurant that is better. Food and service is excellent and the pricing is very reasonable. (We always collect so I can't review delivery).
