Charles Street Bar in Brighton and Hove

Lovely atmosphere, and lots of a space. The food was great and nice bar too. Really like it here.

Might be good for some evening drag but the food here is honestly tasteless and beyond overpriced. The service is basic and they bring one dish out at a time so everyone is eating at different times. If you're vegetarian it's hard to find what you can have and once you do its something from Iceland covered in sloppy gravy so no point.

A large bar that serves a variety of beers though more of a similar type than a wide range. Pale Ale and IPA fans well caterer for, stouts and porters, no. They serve a basic menu similar to wetherspoons. Popular with a young crowd with a few oldies about too. Friendly staff. Officially a gay venue but it is Brighton so very fluid!

A nice enough pub near the front, but the food is restrictive for anyone gluten free... Great place for the LGBTQ+ community with free condoms on the bar and phone battery chargers for rent if you need a boost... If the menu was better this would be an easy 5 stars

Very nice , clean , helpful staff , we grabbed some food & drink before seeing the genius of Ricky Gervais in Brighton.Lovely clean toilets , plenty of space , no concern of hygiene , and really a pleasent experience.Thank you.Nice to support great places like these instead of the corporate "dirty" over used "spoons".

Great bar and pub. Food is pretty good too. The decor is great. Great use of oil drums and up cycling stuff. Selection of beers is good and right by the sea front. Staff are all pretty friendly and welcoming too. Recommend the neck oil as a personal choice. Bar staff let you sample the beer before you try it (obviously not the likes of Fosters or similar, though I haven't tried) I'm sure they'd be accommodating. I'll go here again next week time I'm in Brighton for definite.

Amazing place to have a dance but also sit and have a lovely meal. Can recommend the bottomless brunch it was great value for money. The staff were very attentive and kind. Had a fantastic time

Booked for the bottomless brunch and was not disappointed. The service was very attentive and drinks were replenished frequently - a bonus that you can choose from a number of different drinks! The food was very tasty - all in all a great birthday celebration brunch and will be back for sure.

lGBTQ bar, very friendlystaff, huge bar. This is only a small part. Good place to meet people. Also fully wheelchair accessible with wheelchair toilet. They have big outdoor area too and cute. A+++ I recommended. 👍⚧💯 Gilles Guichard

Lovely bar and friendly staff. We celebrated our pre and post wedding with friends and family. This made our wedding days celebration more enjoyable. Cocktail drinks are really great. Though we are not aware that there is on-going deal for it. We just learned it by ordering on their app service. We visited many times the places and i recommend it.😀
