The roast dinner was exceptional! By far the best pub roast dinner I've ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection. The lamb was epic! The staff were really friendly and attentive. Really great experience. I would recommend booking as all the tables had reservations.

This was a two star review. One star because it was open and the other was because it was warm. However as they are closing at an obviously stupid early time when we could be having fun here until sunrise we have reduced our rating to one. If they offered a cutting of the cheese plant at the bar there might regain the two stars. Highly unlikely as the person behind the bar, eyes are too close together.

We booked in advance a roast dinner on a Sunday, late afternoon. Food was good, a little overpriced, but they had run out of a lot of the menu, and Yorkshire puddings. Were told “It’s just because we’ve run out’”, with limited remorse, and no attempt at an offer of substitution or a discount on the now reduced plate. Also thought it unusual / concerning that a pub didn’t have flour, milk and eggs…

Fab food, lots of vegan stuff, really tasty made obviously with passion, care and flair. Definitely not the usual token gesture offerings here. We will be going back for sure.

Excellent Sunday roast, good for vegetarians. My friend has numerous allergies and although in the end she couldn't eat the food, the staff made every effort to accommodate her.

Nice/out of the ordinary beers, friendly staff and cosy location. They also offer an interesting choice of small plates. We tried the beetroot arancini and tasted really nice. Location is fab, just off the main road to the station - still convenient but avoiding he big crowds. Pleasantly surprised by the bill too, very reasonable prices! Would recommend :)

Incredible food. Pub grub menu and a small plates menu on the flip side. Everything is great. Friendly staff, great location for people watching on busy weekends. Try and book downstairs.

Super pub with great food and welcoming atmosphere.I would highly recommended this venue the food menu is great the staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is great.Not often toohisy and you can find a quiet table.I had a steak and my girlfriend had a crab salad which we both shared. The steak was superb and cooked perfectly the salad was amazing tasted fresh and delicious.We shared padron peppers to start.I would recommend and return to this location anytime
