Reasonably priced, tasty, like-homemade Indian food.Have been exploring Brighton's food map for the last 6 years and discovered this low-profiled gem rather randomly.So far, in our opinion the best Indian in town. Rather short menu, which means food is fresh and you are not spending 15mins just to read trough it.I had a spontaneous meal there when I discovered, took my husband, and had a take-away - in the last 3 weeks.(oh, I know he had a secret meal there by himself when we fought last!)Not one for poppadoms but devoured theirs! They make their sauces themselves, not from some tin or bottle!Clearly on our frequent list!

Deceptively good, given the location and rather tired decor. Staff are friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic value for money too. Would be 5***** if the Cobra beer was properly cold and fresher tasting.

Such an underrated Indian restaurant. Absolutely some of the best, most authentic Indian food I’ve had in this country. The dosas are absolutely excellent and all the food is superb. Highly, highly recommended

I do love Eastern Eye. The Dosa is my all time favourite. The restaurant might not look much and is located on London Rd. But don't let any of that put you off a visit. The hospitality and food will make up for all of that superficial stuff. I have been visiting for years now and it never fails to deliver.

Absolutely delicious food and our go to dinner option when ordering food. Have only ordered take away, but have done so countless times and every meal has been just amazing. Truly authentic South Indian food with a wonderful range of vegan options. Not too oily and not too salty, generous amounts of vegetables with a good amount of bite in them and all the beautiful aromatic flavours of South India that I so miss! The masala dosa is definitely a favourite, but have honestly loved everything I’ve eaten from Eastern Eye. Looking forward to eating in the restaurant at some point.
