Fillets in Brighton and Hove

Ordered for delivery from Ubereats a few weeks ago and the chips were not good. Previously they were always excellent, cooked to perfection but this time they looked double fried, greasy and a bit limp..Please dont reheat your chips and ruin your good reputation. 3 starts because I now how good you can cook chips.

I find fillets is a great chippy and they do the best chili con carny and chicken curry with chips great value for money staff are very friendly 😊

Good fish and chips. Never greasy. Our go to local chippy these days since Barnsleys went downhill sadly. Fillets is not over priced either 👍

This is the best fish and chip shop I’ve come across in Brighton. My family came down from London just to have food from this spot during their stay. The boss kindly gave my aunt drinks as well while we waited. Everyone loved the food, great service and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you want fresh fish and good food.

Top food. Fair prices. Well run. Near shops that sell cider at a great price. Benches down the road to eat and street drink. Use level for toilets.

Quite good fish and chips, certainly the best in the Lewes Road/Elm Grove area. Fish is nicely and tastefully battered and the chips aren't too floury unlike many chip shops.Atmosphere and environment is very nice if you want to eat in. Very clean, modern and stylish. Staff are friendly too.
