Garden Bar in Brighton and Hove

Definitely one of the best, most friendly pubs in Hove. Beautiful suntrap of a garden, incredibly reasonably priced drinks compared to other places in the area. Bar staff always welcoming and friendly. The only disappointment is there is no notification on when the main area and garden is closed for a private function. As it's very local to us we now phone in advance. Otherwise, highly recommended 👌

Father's day lunchYet again a fabulous roast lunch at The Garden Bar, I had the roast lamb which was delicious washed down with a very nice Merlot red wine. Even though it was busy the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Thank you.

Went to the Garden Bar in Hove yesterday for Sunday Lunch with my sister, her partner and my nephew. My sisters partner and I opted for the beef and it was delicious and a huge portion 👍 my sister is a vegetarian and went for the vegetarian wellington but was spoilt for choice with 3 vegetarian options on the Sunday lunch menu. My nephew had the kiddie roast which included a free scoop of 🍦we all agreed the food was delicious and excellent value for money plus both the waiting and bar staff were welcoming and accomodating so will certainly be returning soon and would highly recommend 😋

We, a table of 4, have just had the most amazing Sunday Roast. The food was fabulous, the service has been brilliant and nothing has been too much trouble for any of the staff. Thoroughly recommend it, would definitely advise booking. Having had a roast in The George Payne recently, we rate The Garden Bar as Premier League and The George conference league

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Garden Bar. We didn't have a reservation but they managed to find space for us as a walk in and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Very attentive to make sure we ordered and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

I celebrated mother's Day here and we were not disappointed. Amazing food, service and the staff are just lovely. Very well done to all the staff as it was a smooth experience 🙂

Mother's Day lunch.....just perfect couldn't fault anything. Lots of perfectly cooked meat, unusual and tasty vegetables, perfect roast potatoes, huge Yorkshire pudding, copious amount of gravy. Added stuffing balls and cauliflower cheese to our order not really needed but absolutely delicious. All washed down with a perfect Pinot Grigio rose. The staff were so friendly and it made for a relaxed and very happy Mother's Day. Lovely dessert selection.Highly recommended pub.PS try the flat white expresso martini and the after eight martini....you won't be disappointed!

We chose the garden bar for the celebration of my late daughter's life.The staff were incredible and made everything so easy for us that we didn't need to worry about anything .They accomodated 80-100 people, allowed us play our choice of music and play a video montage on their TV.And the buffet and choice was amazing and delicious.So many comments saying it was the best buffet people had ever had.I cannot praise and recommend this venue and the staff highly enough.Thank you for making a sad day special

Amazing Sunday roast. Had pork belly with a side of pigs in blankets and pork&cranberry stuffing balls! Loved the rosemary gravy and the pork scratching was the best!!Oh and forgot to mention how lovely and friendly the staff was!
