Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Brighton and Hove

Both milk shakes and the beef burgers are delicious!! But chicken burgers are dry and lack flavour. Not the biggest fan of their chips either. The staff is friendly and service is good. As for prices, compared to similar restaurants the prices are actually good. You can the the classic bundle for 14£ (classic burger, chips, and a milkshake of your choice).

A lovely evening at GBK Brighton, went for a family meal and the service was amazing. The staff were so friendly and engaging. The burgers were great too far better than other burger chains. Will be back soon

Came here during a trip to Brighton, honestly the best vegan burger possible. I got the cluck-free and my friend got the beyond-cheese and they were incredible.

Burgers are good, no doubt. Mine (panko chicken) a bit too dry. Anyway, I just write here because you are my son's favourite take away. We always use deliveroo and there is always something wrong in the order: yesterday it was the fries of the Hei-Hei chicken tender and the sauce came open and all over the chicken. Other days (this is another classic) is that we order with no relish and they consistently come with relish in it. It is then a mess to claim money back, they ask you for a picture... I guess that weekends are quite busy but somehow I think you could put a bit more of care on how the orders are coming out. Thanks!

My partner and myself both became quite sick after eating the same burger from this outlet. The matter was investigated which resulted in us receiving a email stating that no one else had food poisoning from that evening, therefore they will take no responsibility. No apology, no refund, no kind words.

£5 more than Five Guys and way, way better. The best burger you will ever eat. Amazing shakes and loads of different chips (fries). I don't think I'll need to eat for a week. Friendly, helpful staff that smile at you. Worth every penny

Quality food, great decor and the best service I've ever experienced in a restaurant, all at a more than reasonable price. The speed of service is also incredible given how each burger is made exactly to order. Couldn't be more satisfied with my experience.

We rocked up with a group of 10 on a Saturday evening without a booking and the staff were really friendly and found places for us to sit.All of our food came quickly and ordering on the app was easy. Our friend with peanut allergies was also well looked after.Food was brilliant as well!

I was carving for a burger and searched online, I never visited GBK before. Both burgers was burned, I didn’t want to complain but it was impossible to eat, I asked to have new burgers which the waitress promptly did (the only good thing about the restaurant was the service). The fries were a shame, oily, ridiculously small portion and toppings but we were so hungry that we decided to keep it and eat while the new burgers were cooked.The new burgers arrived less burned but still burned, i was so hungry that I had no choice but to eat it, paying £12 for a half burned with unmelted cheese burger is frustrating.

Very expensive for what you get. Cost us £47 for a family of four of which were two small girls. Staff were very friendly. The food was okay but a little dry and you pay extra for fries. £10 for just a burger was not worth it. Nice to watch the people go by but probably won't go back.
