Sadly,although only recently re-opened I shall not be returning anytime soon !H's was always my go to cafe when in this area of town but after experiencing possibly the worst full English I've had for years cannot recommend the new version at all.The only identifiable taste on my plate other than old oil and burnt burgers were the chips !

A convenient traditional cafe, extremely great value for money, nothing fancy, just what you need after a hangover or just want a good breakfast/lunch.Options for takeaway are useful, as it can be loud, but some people like the ambiance you get. So the option is yours.Staff are always welcoming and efficient, i've visited a few times but its clear its popular with locals for its customer service and hospitality.Would recommend for anyone who is looking for a quick meal or coffee without the unnecessary extras you get from usual restaurants that you make you feel guilty for not eating. Always expect to finish your plate!

Great place to go when it turns out your "Hotel" does not do breakfast. Be aware that portions are generous and most breakfast are served with chips. Full of hard working tradesmen having a well earned breakfast.

Friendly family run cafe. Quick service, warm, fresh and tasty food. Varied cafe style menu, lots of breakfast options including vegetarian options. Other items include jacket pots, sandwiches etc. Hot and cold drinks. Seats outside and in and always has customers whenever I pass and its open. Local builders and residents of Brighton use this cafe.

This is easily the best café in Brighton by far; Liver and Bacon with mash, peas and onion gravy is the best I've ever had, as is the Shepherds Pie, and Sausage & Mash. The #1 Cooked Breakfast is the best anywhere! 👍🏼

Always a nice friendly atmosphere and nice staff I always go for the number 1 everytime without fail spot on. 5 stars Good value for money and food is lovely.

Went this morning for breakfast after moving in not far away. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced for what you get; exactly what was needed after a long day moving and before a long day cleaning. Will definitely go back again for breakfast in the future.
