Halisco in Brighton and Hove

Just wonderful. Great food, generous portions, lovely staff and a fab ambience. Wonderful place to visit and will certainly be back!

Second time at Halisco this evening and wow wow wow - again the food was totally amazing, service great and those margaritas are the best ever. As vegans, there is great choice. Really great place and will definitely be back a third, fourth and fifth time and more besides. Thanks guys for a great evening!

The staff did an amazing job of hosting us. The restaurant is perfectly set up for large groups with its private room downstairs.Food, service, drinks all fantastic.Pork belly was a real crowd favourite.

Absolutely love this place - not too much on the menu so simple choices and really delicious. Recommend the corn ribs, coconut margaritas and especially the pork belly tacos. Really fun and friendly staff too

#1 rated Mexican for good reason.We needed a table for 9 last minute on a Saturday and unbelievably we got in.The staff were amazing and I can say hand on heart that’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The sea bass was fantastic and the pork was mind blowing.This will become a regular for us, no doubt.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to, honestly even the best restaurant overall.The staff are friendly and downright fantastic, the food is phenomenal, it was a perfect mix of spicy and delicious with slow cooked meats and amazing specials. Me and my partner want to come back every time we visit Brighton!!

A lovely cosy restaurant! The food was delicious and portion size was great. I went here for my birthday and my friend organised them to bring out some churros with a candle in and everyone sang happy birthday! I was very embarrassed but what a nice thing to do! The main host/waiter was super great, he was friendly and chatty. I would definitely recommend but you need to book!

AMAZING!!!!!Really funky place, friendly staff and fab food (especially the pork tacos). Good cocktails too, and options for vegans/vegetarians.Would definitely recommend booking since it’s quite a small building and very busy.

FABULOUS! I had the seabass small plate & buttermilk chicken taco which were both delicious. The classic Margarita also hit the spot 👌 definitely recommend - worth booking because it's a small venue and it gets busy. Great atmosphere.

Amazing food and great service.. the refried beans with feta and homemade nachos were INCREDIBLE!!One of the best Mexican restaurants in Brighton for sure.
