Great quality baker but really disorganised and hopeless service - 15 mins wait today to put a sausage roll in a bag. Avoid peak times.

Ordered a Birthday cake to be delivered to Tart by Sourdough at shelterhall. Cake was amazing and made the occasion really special.

I don’t think you can order anything that isn’t 100% delicious from here! Also get some hot cross buns whilst you can, they’re delish!!

My son took us here for brunch. In the end, we just settled for coffee, and the most wonderful sausage roll I have ever eaten! Good quality sausage wrapped in the most amazing warm flaky pastry. Missing out on one of their desserts will be regretted for a long time.

Hi everyone, I'd like to give "Sourdough and cake" 5 stars for quality. When I'm back to Brighton, I'll visit again. I wish this cafe/restaurant to keep the quality, e.g. homemade bread, lemonades, etc. Loved the breakfast we had today, please make more of these, and you'll be Brighton's #1!

Came across by accident as we walked into Brighton from Hove and were enticed by the trolleys full of pastries in the window. Popped in for a coffee and spotted all the lovely cakes. Great range pastries, cakes and bread. Would definitely recommend. My only regret is that I had to choose!

Food is amazing and I would give 5 stars. But be aware of food been at the reach of dogs on the lower shelf near the window. Also my fork wasn't very clean when they served the cake at the table. Food at the counter is not sheltered against people talking over it.. so I'm afraid but on the higiene side there is a big lack for my standards.

I'll echo the positive carrot cake related reviews! Best I've had in a while, and well presented. I won't lie, paying just shy of £4 unfortunately puts me off thinking of this as anymore than a 'very occasional' treat. It is a shame, but the cost seems in line with the current bakery trend. Cake needn't cost this much when all made on site, in my honest opinion 🙂📷
