Shine Lay is one of the best Thais I have ever been too. It is run by a mother and daughter who are really lovely. Would recommend the specials, tofo on toast, Thai tea and everything else. Have become a regular in the last few months!

Amazing... arguably the BEST Thai food in Hove! Lovely, friendly staff and cute dining area... Very small, so if you plan to eat in, book ahead. Gorgeous massaman curry with coconut rice, fantastic prawn cakes for starter. Can't wait to return! Bring your own wine or beer, a huge plus! Cash only. Highly recommended.

Secret hidden gem in a tiny road just off Hove seafront near the King Alfred swimming pool.It’s really small with very limited seating but the food and drinks are the same as if you were in Thailand. Very relaxing ambience and very reasonable prices. They do not accept credit or debit cards - cash only.Highly recommended if you want some original Thai food with excellent customer service.Be aware of the limited opening hours.Currently Wednesday to Sunday 4 pm - 9 pm.

After a hard day xmas shopping all I wanted was a healthy, fresh and tasty meal to enjoy. Shine-Lay did not disappoint! Super tasty authentic Thai food at a reasonable price and big enough portions to save a few morsels for a snack post meal time. Highly recommended
