What a great find! We’ve been greeted by a friendly hostess and taken to our table. Amazing atmosphere, everything is beautifully decorated. Staff was attentive and very helpful with the menu and recommended some delicious cocktails. Food was just next level both for taste and presentation. Overall great experience, definitely a must visit in Brighton

Best Indian food I’ve ever had! Such a wide range of different options to choose from, to fit my preferences! Staff was so friendly and attentive! They handled a rowdy table extremely well and in such a professional manner! Will definitely be coming back ASAP

Fine dining Indian food at its very best! A great, friendly and professional experience in Brighton’s “go to” best Indian Restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere with a decor which blends classic with a funky edge - SO Brighton! Did I say that the food was excellent already?

I went to Brighton for a one day trip and find out this amazing restaurant. Really enjoyed the cocktail and the Chicken Biryani. The Environment of the restaurant makes me feel like - I’m in India. For me it was really impressive. They are having variety of Indian food. Staff was also good. Overall nice experience.

Lovely meal out. Staff were very friendly and informative about the menu options.Very crowded on a Friday night which didn't bother us but might not be the best setting for somewhere intimate or romantic as difficult to have a conversation.Table was booked for 8 but not ready till 8:10pm -this was fine but there was nowhere to wait and so we were asked to to for a quick wander - not ideal on a cold night in the dark. Staff were very apologetic and managed to find us an alternative table when we returned. We had the vegetarian and the meat thali - both were delicious but the veggie option stole the show with a gorgeous Cauliflower curry. Nice range of drinks and cocktails.

I literally cannot sing enough praise for this restaurant. Their desire to delight my mum On her recent trip with her multiple food allergies was effortless. They were attentive and kind. Made us feel very special without feeling ‘highlighted’. The food was so delicious. I’ve told at least 4 people in 48 hours about that dip with the starters!!!! Really reasonably priced for the quality of the food, service and drinks. My new favourite restaurant in Brighton FOR SURE!!!!!!

Yes yes yes. I've been out again with a good friend and ticked another restaraunt of of my to go to list.Indian Sumner has been a delight.I've eaten here under previous ownership and loved speaking with the family that owned the place but tonight was an eye opener. The new owners have really stepped up the gameThe food and service have been superb.I love the attention to detail both in the decor and in food presentation.ok Nothing I say will help you taste it or get those aromas from the kitchen and other diners meals. Nothing I say will prepare you for the delight of a mango and chilli cocktail. Yummmm!!!!So I'll let the pics do the talking. After all a picture can paint a thousand words.P.s I confess I did get the waiter to take a few pics of some of the other dishes being served as they came out. I told you super nice staff and service 😁

My wife and I had an absolutely fabulous time at Indian summer from start to finish. Welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable (about the food and Brighton) meant that we had delicious food in a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere. The lamb curry that I had was delicious. The price of the meal was fair and matched the quality of the food, the presentation and the service received. If u want a very good curry in a friendly and funky decorated restaurant get down to this curry house 👍. We will be back 😊

The authentic Indian taste , I can vouch for it.In uk I am afraid of ordering Indian food from restaurants because of tastelessness. Either restaurants named Indian food and give you entirely different version of the same dishes Or a sweet tasteless food made me off ordering anything else. This restaurant is one of the best kind I have ever had in UK. Authentic brilliant Taste....Good---------1. Service2. Ambience3. Taste4. Authencity5. Really good people6. They offered complimentary desert to kidsNeed to know-----------------------1. Little bit expensive but worth spending money there2. Always reserve your table before you turn up
