Amazing food a very reasonable fine dining tasking menu of delights. At times the dishes hit the heights of how did they put those flavours in that? The Apple pie sorbet for one.Along with this there is a wide variety of English wines and drinks carefully curated by the knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit for an intimate evening.

Delicious tasting menu with wine pairings. Small, quaint atmosphere. Fantastic selection of British wines and local ingredients. “Sussex on a plate”

A truly enlightening culinary experience. Who knew that parsnip could be such a delicious desert?

Had a tasting menu meal. The food was excellent and unique, paired with fantastic English wines and ciders. Staff were fantastic, special mention to Connor H who was very welcoming all evening!

Isaac At Gloucester Place is the most delicious restaurant in Brighton.A taster menu that is palatably divine. All food sourced within 20 miles of the restaurant for sustainable environmental planning. It is cosy with only ten tables. So make sure you book early and often.10/10 on the delicious scale of taste!

im currently sitting at a pub ordering chips with my friend to fill our bellies after a very unsatisfying experience at Isaac at. (Pub is called the joker)to start off with - the restaurant gives a pretty bad impression when you walk in. the tables are wobbly, the glasses are chipped, and the place feels crowded with a fridge for their herbs and a wine fridge in a small space. As for the food… it was alright. But both my friend and I would have needed maybe 3x as much to feel satiated. If I had invited friends over, and served them this much food, they would be angry at me for making them trek to my house. Let alone, if they travelled for 2 hours for a birthday lunch to Brighton & paid 60£/person too.I wish you well, but I won’t be returning. If the reply from Isaac At includes the words ‘you didn’t mention any of this to us to fix it’ (or words to this effect), let this be known: no one asked for our opinion or for how things were whilst at the restaurant.

The local philosophy for every single ingredient and for the wine selection, the staff always full of energy and super friendly, the atmosphere super relaxed even if the standard is high, really make this place special. Kitchen table highly recommended.

A good set menu for lunch, and a totally British focus for the wine! I love going local!
