J D Wetherspoons in Brighton and Hove

I love going there, picked up nice bargains at the boots sale on the roof top, no trouble with parking.Then all in walking distance to the West Quay for a bite to eat, found a good morning on a Sunday. People are still wearing masks, and services very good, and they were busy. I love Weather Spoons, not to expensive and good for a family meal and drink.Looking forward to the beer festival coming soon

We have family from Norway and we took them on this ultimate English experience. The place is a very nice locations, but thats all. Service? There is no service. Clean? No it's gross. Food? Really simple, dry and tasteless.After all we alive and they deserved 2 stars at least.Thank you

We went for late lunch and ordered online at 14:10 on Saturday. The food arrived eventually, after several chasers with the staff, more than an hour!!! I don't remember having been served after more than an hour?! We just ordered a vegan wrap, vegan chilli and chicken wings. Terrible customer service! The manager was apologetic and kindly offered free drinks or desserts. But was to hungry and disappointed to accept the offer.It is just unacceptable.Avoid as much as you can!

Good views over the marina. Staff know how to pull a good pint of Guinness. I noticed a few things on the app were out of stock but that's the same with most Wetherspoons recently

Great pub, best of the local Spoons in my opinion. Great cheap beers and wines, perfectly acceptable tasty food, I've never been ill eating there. Friendly accommodating team, who when the pumps were playing up didn't hesitate to go down to the barrel room and tap us a couple off. I really like like this pub 👍

Best spoons in Brighton. Came here for lunch and it was an enjoyable experience. Will come back in the future. And the man who served me was very friendly which I appreciated 😀

Visited today (03/01/2022) and was really busy inside. The staff managed to get us a table for 12 people to eat and were extremely polite and friendly. We had a slight delay in getting our food but, the staff serving our party we're informative and apologetic about why we had a delay on our order and managed to get all our food out at the same time all cooked fresh and the food was great. Thank you to Jamie, Chloe and Tam for giving us a great afternoon and thanks for the cheeky deserts. Hope to be able to visit again and leave as happy as we did this visit. Xx

We arrived at an empty table upstairs as a staff member was removing the empty glasses. We sat and waited for her to return and clean the table, removing the last groups food stuff that has ended up on the table. She never returned so my wife went up to the bar (where no one was waiting for service) and asked for the table to be cleaned. She then arrived and gave it a cursory wipe down removing most, but not all of the food.

Excellent Fish & Chips - crispy on the outside whilst soft and flaky inside. The kids' menu spaghetti bolognese was also excellent with a rich, tasty sauce containing a generous amount of beef. The outdoor seating in picturesque surroundings and well-priced beers were the icing on the proverbial cake. 5 stars for all theseThe sirloin steak, however, was tough and dry and I'm docking 1 star on this account.
