My family and I came to visit Brighton on Sunday and we had lunch at La Choza. We were greeted by the lovely Irish waitress and requested a table outside and she seated us straight away and brought us blankets. She came back quickly and took our drinks order and recommended the passion fruit margarita for myself which was delicious. Our food was amazing and came super quickly. We had the churros which were also recommended by the waitress which were so so good!! It was a great experience and I would highly recommend to friends and family 😊✨👍🏼

Probably the best burrito I've had, very tasty Pulled Pork which is smoked in house. The night we came was a little crowded, but I appreciate that the waitresses that night were doing all they could to make service run smoothly as well as managing delivery orders. Though it says on the website you don't need to book, perhaps for weekend nights I'd personally recommend to avoid not getting a table

Quite surprised by the high reviews tbh. Wish we had a good experience but perhaps was on a bad day?The food was not hot. There was no flavour. When we asked if we could have guacamole on the side of our main, was told by the manager that they need to save the guacamole for nacho dishes. Found this incredibly insulting as it’s a MEXICAN restaurant, and had to go without.Very cold inside and cramped.Customers prior to us had also left most of their food and could hear the manager openly complaining to her staff that it was such a waste of the sauce. Will not be returning.

The choice is good and the staff are very friendly and know all about the produce they sell. A little cramoes for me, but my daughter was OK with it. When we arrived, it was reasonablly quirt but then busied up in the hour. Only issue, it was a bit cold so we would have stayed longer but for the temperature.

I came here for lunch earlier today, and the food, drinks and service were faultless. As I hadn't eaten breakfast, the burrito I had was exactly what I needed. The portions are generous, and the staff are polite, attentive and accommodating- which is exactly how it should be.Lovely, chilled place, with a really good atmosphere.

Lovely little place. One of the best pulled pork tacos I had and the salad serves with it was amazing. Margarita was good too but could have been a better presentation for the price.

Really great Mexican food with great kitschy deco and wonderful staff. We had the hot peppers and then veg tostadas. Nice to have a couple of different veg options and the staff were really friendly and well informed about all the menu items, especially the mescal. Will definitely be retuning!

Went here with my daughter after she found it online for our trip to Brighton. We loved it, the very friendly and helpful staff who we had a chat with, the food, the quirky little restaurant and it's colourful Day of the Dead theme. Very good portions and food was delicious. My daughter has posted her own review so it's got to be good. If you like Mexican food we fully recommend this place.

A very nice & cozy little Mexican, with good options on the menu. I went for the nachos with chorizo, and did request the xxxtreme hot naga salsa as a side, but this seemed to cause confusion and I was instead offered a selection of hot sauces (which were good to discover). A little disappointed I didnt get to try the naga. I always like to try it wherever I see it on a menu ! The staff were friendly enough, and had it not been a busy lunchtime I would've re-requested the tempting salsa. Anyway, a great little find. I'm sure you'd enjoy the great food!

Really yummy, the hottest sauce is genuinely hot and is really tasty, we had nachos and quesadillas and they were great, non-alcoholic drinks are also really good. The restaurant has a really nice aesthetic and the outdoor seating is great if the weather's good.
