There is never a time you can ever say you are most welcomed and serviced to the highest quality of friendliness and ambience. Don’t worry about menu choices the food is fresh and fantastic taste. The special tonight giant jumbo prawns on garlic mash was exceptional beyond their usual exceptional taste bud tantalising menu choices. A fabulously friendly affordable special place to wine and dine. Thank You

Been here a few times over the last year now- always been well looked after and the food has been top notch. Really enjoyed our first time upstairs this evening. Nice relaxed atmosphere.Recommended.

We’ve just enjoyed the most delicious take away roast dinners! Beautifully cooked with 7 different vegetables plus Yorkshire pudding, relevant sauce and gravy. I had the pork with crispy pork scratching and my husband had the lamb. The roast potatoes were crispy and seasoned and each vegetable had its own distinct flavour. The pork just melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend their Sunday roasts - eat in or take away 👍😃

Had a lunch today here. We ordered the strawberry virgin mojito which was too sweet, was too much strawberry puree in it. Then for starter we ordered the chicken liver pate. The pate was excellent but the toasted bread was not fresh and took so long to get it. For main we ordered tagliatelle carbonara and salmon and asparagus risotto. The risotto was delicious, however I found a piece of pasta in it, I was wondering how did it get into my food. But the pasta was hidious. Sorry for saying this. The pasta was overcooked, was not al dente, there was no salt,no pepper, had no flavour to it at all,and was full of oil. My partner could not eat more than 3 bites. We did not complained about it because my partner was not in the mood to try something else, just wanted to leave. After we paid the waiter guy did not ask how was the food when my partner's plate was nearly full. I guess he did not want to get complaints. After our table he went to clean up the table next to us where all the plates were empty and asked the guests how was the food. One thing what I do not understand...why you guys have to decorate a carbonara with the pea stalk? Like you just threw the pea plant on the plate...ridiculous. Definitely will not be back...charged for £56...

For some reason I did not have great expectations from this place. Maybe as it's so central thought the food won't be great but I have to say I was proved wrong. Food was great! Fresh ingredients and classic recipies with unique little twists, very nicely executed! Prices were quite reasonable, good portions, seemed clean and staff were friendly. We sat outside and luckily they have heaters! In Great view of the lovely palmeira Square! I would definetely recommend!

Was my first time eating out in 2021 and it was fab! Food was quality for its price and service was amazing. Max did a great job on checking if everything was okay. They also have gluten free and vegan options.

Came here on a date and was pleasantly surprised having not been here before. We ordered the bruschetta, Mediterranean pizza, fried mozzarella, and chocolate fondant. The quality and the freshness of the ingredients made the flavors pop. Everything was very well seasoned. My girlfriend lived in Rome for 4 years so she's picky about real Italian food. She was impressed and said the pizza in particular was proper Italian pizza.Marina was the friendliest waitress we've ever met. She made the experience much more enjoyable and happy. We will be coming back, and we hope to be served by Marina again!

Marvellous! After my disappointment from Bill's in Lewes last week end, l headed to La Piazza in Hove a bit apprehensive. Stepped in and got offered to take care of my jacket, a nice touch that is getting lost out there. Got seated and got to check the menu which l found was not too long and not too short, choice is there without that feeling of confusion from an endless list of dishes. Prices are a touch more than some other places, however, the dishes are reflecting this and l was delighted by the portion sizes of each plates that came to our table. Only thing l would say is maybe they should offer a drizzle of olive oil or basil olive oil to put on the bruschetta like the do with the black pepper. It would add a nice touch to the dish. I even saw the Sunday roast dishes going to other tables and l had never seen portion like this before, not only they looked big but also looked well presented. I was so pleased overall that l treated myself to a dessert which is very unusual for me. That banoffee pie was amazing. The service is also excellent. I cannot fault the place. I will go back to try the Sunday roast without a doubt!
