You are guaranteed to be welcomed by a friendly face here. Excellent selection of beers, gins and a couple of good whiskies! I tried their sunday roast for the first time this last weekend of February and it was one of the best roasts I've ever had (and I've had my share).Dogs, prams and everyone welcomed.

It's a very unusual pub as it has lots of Art Deco fittings and fixtures! We loved it! The staff were very friendly, specially George went an extra mile to help me out on something very important! The gin & tonic was really an artisan's drink!

The Function Room is a great space for hired events. Has a bar (unattended), tables and chairs. And large enough for a bouncy castle. Parking available but limited. Get there early to grab a spot, but surrounding streets have on-road parking unvouchered.

Good Sunday roast and service. Excellent Yorkshire pudding. The spuds were not crunchy enough on the outside for me.

Hired their lovely function room for a video shoot and we were really impressed. Very friendly staff, amazing space and well kitted out with chesterfield sofas and plenty of tables & chairs. It's cosy and extremely versatile. Would book again.

A lively pub with friendly staff. There is a pleasant view of the local green and various comings and goings from the front garden benches. Patronised by a fairly eclectic clientele, it was still a bit too 'blokey' for me to really enjoy my drink there. Not my kind of venue but the pub seems well run and others may like the atmosphere more than me.

Popped in last night (with a friend who lives locally) for a meal. I had the steak burger and chips, I can honestly say it was the best burger I’ve had for many years.. the pleasant waitress got the order right, (I ordered different toppings to the standard ones) it was cooked to perfection, the chips were thin, crispy and delicious. All the staff were so nice and it was reasonably priced. I’d definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone.

The food was extremely good! Everything was really lovely and tasty, with amazing flavours. Not your regular pub food FOR SURE. Very family friendly. Best brownie we have eaten in a long time. Staff all chatty and friendly and welcoming.We truly enjoyed our midweek lunch here. Everyone was interactive with us.Will come back for sure.
