Amazing and very reasonably priced Thai lunch menu, great quality food!

HORRID LANDLORD!! We booked a Thai meal to celebrate our anniversary but was advised on arrival he'd mixed the dates up. They squeezed the four of us on a table suitable for two at best, no offers of a complimentary drink for the inconvenience. The food was nice but an already spoiled evening was made worse by the same small man spilling a drink from the tray into my sons lap and then claiming he was "too busy" to clean it up, which I found hard to believe seeing as the pub was a ghost town, we'd also had no offer to be moved to a larger table by this point! Won't be drinking in a Golden Lion Group pub for the foreseeable, I fear this once great local could now suffer the same fate as The Snipe. DWARF!

Traditional friendly pub atmosphere with an exotic Asian twist in the form of superb Thai food. I can't recommend it enough.

I visited this place for lunch when I worked nearby, I had a nice pint with a Thai meal! It was ok for the money to be fair. All clean and tidy, staff nice enough.

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff who kindly donated all their flags that were hanging up outside for the Euros to my son who has been collecting flags since he was 8 years old. He is really grateful to you and thanks you for your generosity.

Outdoor seating area is very nice, both shaded and sunny areas. Unfortunately the roast dinner didn't have much flavour. Overall under seasoned on the potatoes, pork belly crackling was soft and pigs in blankets come on a plate soaked in gravy.

Excellent pub and the Thai food is exceptional. Service is always fast and staff are happy. Even during these times it’s place you can go to enjoy in a safe environment.
