Bit of a mixed bag - ordered a selection of starters, crispy duck, noodles and rice. If I’m honest the noodles were very clean and healthy….. also bland and rather uninspiring (given that dish was £7 I did expect more). The duck was not crispy at all and when we questioned this we were told that “people” didn’t eat crispy duck, crispy so it was our fault for getting the order wrong (silly us for thinking that crispy duck was meant to be something other than limp). We also had tofu kebab which was nasty and I love tofu usually. I must say the seaweed and spring rolls were absolutely fine and the sauces were obviously bought in but again enjoyable. All in all it seemed expensive when we could have shoved a £15 meal deal from M&S in the oven and got a nicer result in the same amount of time.

I've ordered a few different dishes from here on a number of occasions. Very tasty and quick.

I have been ordering from this place for 14 years..Unfortunately, they have dropped their standards.I can't say that they can't keep up with the demand, because it's always been a very busy place. What I can say for certain is that the last 4 times that I ordered within the past year, the chilli squid was soggy with more coating than squid, the duck vermicelli was mainly pieces of fat and you were struggling to find any duck in there to begin with, the seafood vermicelli had exactly 6 pieces of seafood, meaning I was just eating vermicelli without the seafood or duck parts. On top of that it is not as tasty as it used to be. I have been ordering the same dishes for 14 years now, when I wanted Chinese it would be Magic Wok, not anymore. They have cut on both quality of ingredients and amounts of meat in their portions... I can see that many of their old customers are dissatisfied. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering again, used to like this place, not anymore. That's a shame, this place used to have a reputation back in the day..

Ordered here while visiting the area. Food came very quickly but was 100% off. Gave me and my girlfriend upset stomach after only a few bites.

I love the chicken in garlic sauce here. It's lightly fried chicken fillets with a super garlicky sauce. Lots of nice aubergine and tofu dishes as well for veggies and vegans.

I love how fresh the food always tastes. Sometimes I think maybe they know my order so well that they “nice me”. But nope , it doesn’t matter if I order to different address off another phone they got it right !I trust Magic Wok as their food has never disappointed me. Their special fried rice so fresh and never tastes over greasy. The rice isn’t sticky and doesn’t clump together. Same goes for the ChickenChowM, very fresh and not overdone.I hope my pictures do it justice.Their crispy butterfly king prawn with sauce delicious. Perfect crunch, crisp ones is visible in pic.I should of ordered their sticky beef however due to current climate I abs to hold some £ back.Good portion size. ✅Another really important note I think I must add :I’ve NEVER found any kind of unwanted stuff 👀 such as hair etc in my food (unlike other places & I have tried ALOT of Chinese takeaways in Brighton - who seem to eventually fail)This is my trusted go to & I recommend it to anyone who visit Brighton.✨ MAGIC WOK ✨ INDEED ✨

Not as good as usual on last delivery.Partner enjoyed his as normal but my meat in the black bean sauce wasn't great.Spring rolls weren't cooked properly.Good noodles though and first bad one I've ever had from there

My absolute go to for Chinese food delivered. Cheaper if you call direct rather than using just eat, and faster too - often shows up piping hot in less than 20 minutes! Best salt and pepper chicken I've had and great, flavourful noodles.
