Mandarin Garden in Brighton and Hove

Fantastic, reasonably priced food never takes more than 15-20 mins and literally always ready in the alloted time, most often early in fact. Plenty of vegan options (would recommend 98b with 90a) and gluten free ones as well. Friendly staff, always smiling only complaint is that they aren't open for longer. Best takeaway for miles. :)

The service and food was amazing. Just moved to the area and wanted to try local.The presentation was spot on, hot tasty food. I phoned in a large order and went to collect a box full of food 25 min later!Hands down the best Chinese take away. Noodles were great, some places are too oily, these were tasty. Worth every penny.

I've revised my previous rating as this takeaway seems to have improved exponentially. I won't go anywhere else locally for a quick Chinese meal. Delivery was very quick too. 5 well earned stars.Would certainly recommend you try this restaurant.

We have used Mandarin Garden for years their standards of service and quality of food is second to none, the same consistency over the years. Well done! It's no problem to me but in this day and age of contact less payment cash only could be a problem to some people.

I ended up going to this Chinese takeaway as I really fancied some Chinese food but unfortunately this was on a Tuesday and many other places where would usually go of course are closed on Tuesdays when I walk through the front door I was pleasantly greeted the a young lady ordered my phone which didn't take too long to go approximately 15 to 20 minutes I didn't order too much by the time I got home which was at least a 15 minute drive my food was still piping hot.Now on about food the food was absolutely fantastic I ordered the duck in black bean sauce the duck had so much flavour the sauce had a slight hint of spice and there was some lovely bean sprouts at the bottom of it definitely recommend along with the Singapore fried rice this was one of the best Singapore fried rice I ever had with the chicken satay skewers my god they was outstanding the satay sauce was so flavorful the chicken was so fresh and tender one of the best starters that I have ever had from a Chinese 10 out of 10 definitely recommend going here will definitely be coming back again.

Some of the meals are greasy and not very nice then some like the skinny noodle dishes are nice enough . The ribs were fatty. When I was growing up in sure these places did better quality food it just seems so cheap now with no effort .

When inside the phone rings at the desk forever before they answer. I was inside ordering but just tried calling and experienced the long ringing with no answer. It sucks. I know they are standing next to the phone too. Ridiculous. Also they charge loads and no free praun crackers under £15. I spent £14.50 twice in two days and when I asked they still refused.Expensive for what it is.

The Mandarin Garden is cheap and cheerful. The turnaround time between ordering and getting your food is swift and the end result is always tasty.
