Marhaba Lounge in Brighton and Hove

Really disappointed with our experience. We heard great reviews so decided to use Levant instead of our usual place. What a silly mistaker to maker!Food was so dry and cold. The chips were like cold cardboard. We feel it was a lot of money for food that my 7 year old could have made better and ended up having to throw £50 worth of food in the bin. Our bank holiday treat night certainly had a dampener on it. I wanted to send an email to them direct before having to put it on here but there is no email address to contact them to give them a chance to rectify it.

Me and my family had the mixed grills was so delicious best in town look at the picture speaks for itself restaurant food delivered to your door meat just melted in your mouth and the rice perfectly cook a must try or you missing out this is the place to order top quality food

Fantastic food at a reasonable price, we ordered a variety of dishes and highly recommend the grilled seabass and grilled chicken, without mentioning amazing homemade hummus. As soon as dine in is allowed again we'll definitely go and enjoy a family meal in this beautiful restaurant. Thank you Fares

This is my second time and ordered the mix grill with rice and salad. Perfect price and a generous amount, tastes very fresh and the meat is delicious and juicy! I will come back and defenetly recommend to family and friends!

This place is a hidden local gem. I used to go to places in Brighton town, as well as having been to loads in London, however now stick to coming here for shisha as it really is top quality. It’s family run by a really super friendly and attentive bunch. The food is top quality, much better than any other shisha places I have been to. They do takeaway or dine in, or food with shisha so pretty much suits anyone. Parking is free outside so it’s a win win for me and I’ve become a regular. Highly, highly recommended.

I went today with a friend.. the atmosphere and the staff is amazing, I have been in other shisha places in Brighton and nothing compared to this one. His owner Abadeer is really friendly and make you feel as at home. I recommend this place without hesitation.Edit to mention that the food is also really tasty, full of flavour...

We had a most delicious meal at Amun’s. The food was freshly cooked, everything is made in their own kitchen. The chicken Farooj was moist and tender, delicately spiced and so good. The hummus the best we’ve tasted in a long time. We will definitely return, but we’ll try and ensure we have big appetites when we do as the portion sizes are generous!

Now this was a surprising find. Very nicely decorated cafe with an additional room which is essentially a large airy room serving hubble bubble shisha pipes in a myriad of flavours. The menu is recognizably Mediterranean and they serve the most divine Turkish coffee flavoured with cardamom in demitasse size cups. Delicious starters, meze and a good choice of vegan, vegetarian and carne lovers main courses. An altogether lovely experience with which to reward your taste buds. Super chilled and relaxing way to end the week.

I came here on a Sunday evening after reading all the good reviews. There were many vegetarian options for mains and starters. I ordered a vegestable stew/curry with rice and it was incredible. Portion size were huge and prices were very cheap. Super friendly owner and staff. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Best meal I've had in Brighton so far.

After going to Amun's for almost 2 years for lunch I have found that not only does the owner care about the quality of the food that is served but also the service that is provided. The chef is also amazing when it comes to service and the food. I very much enjoy and will always recommend the Kofta Kebab with their "special sauce". Amun's restaurant is honestly a must if you are visiting Hove or if you are looking for somewhere for lunch/dinner in the local area.
