Market Restaurant & Bar in Brighton and Hove

Just had the most amazing anniversary dinner at Market Restaurant. Menu was unbelievable - all courses were so creative and delicious (the goats cheese churros were next level) and the staff were all fantastic. 10/10 experience all round.

We had a fantastic time on Sunday with our parents at Market. The Sangrias at the bar were delicious as were the Salt Cod croquettes which are a must eat! And the empanadas were superb with lovely light pastry. The mains were fab too with the beef rib a standout. The wine was really nice and a baked cheesecake topped off a wonderful restaurant experience. Margot was a super host and the vibe in the restaurant was really fun. Lots of delicious cocktails being made at the bar and thus I can’t wait to go back! Having spent much time in Spain this is really an authentic menu and I can’t wait for more!

Great evening! First time here and we ordered a selection of tapas and wine by the glass. Both food and wine were delicious. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back. Thank you!

Magical Sunday afternoon in Market truly was 10/10 experience.We started with Sangria, which was clearly all home made with a lot of proper booze in, followed this by a Orange Gin Sour which was incredible. The rest of the tasty menu was eaten along delious red and white wine which where recommended.From the tapas we ordered the Salt cod fritters were the stand out dish however everything was deliciousThe beef short rib was 10/10 and we also ordered the Sunday Sharing Steak which was amazing WAGYU Steak and tapas dishes, Market offering of a roast ( almost!!!)4 of us dined and were recommended to order one Sunday Share between us and then additional dishes. We were all SO glad we did this as got to try more of the menu and had alot of tasty food! The staff were as fantastic as the food and I could recommend a Sunday afternoon ( or any day) well spent in Market

We went on Saturday night and had the best ever old fashioned cocktail, the wagu steak sharing board was a real treat... and Margo and her team were really welcoming. I’ll be back!

This restaurant is not only beautiful, but has amazing food and service! We had 4 small dishes that were delicious, croquetas, padrón peppers, goats cheese churros, and the mussels, then finished off with the hand made truffles. 10 out of 10 all round 😊

Delicious tapas. The Alhambra beer is really nice.Treated very well for a birthday lunch. Absolutely gorgeous interior! Will come again 💫

We went here for tapas and drinks last night, and I haven’t shut up about it since! The food and service were amazing and the tapas was out of this world! We ordered most of the menu between the five of us, my highlights were the meat and cheese board, goats cheese churros, mussels, deep fried oysters and basque cheesecake. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional and we had such a wonderful evening and were so well looked after by the staff. Margo was a brilliant host and really knowledgeable about the food and wine. I absolutely will be back and I’m already excited to try more of the menu. Thank you for such a brilliant birthday meal, we all had a fantastic time.

Excellent, food was delicious especially the octopus which was cooked to perfection. Tapas can suffer from inconsistencies between the quality of the various plates but not at Market. Everything was of an impressively high quality and the service was friendly and relaxed, exactly what you want from a place like this. Would definitely go again.

One of the nicest tapas restaurants I have been too in decades. The cocktails are well made and the staff are tentative. It's a must place to eat in Brighton.
