Marrocco's in Brighton and Hove

Nice ice-cream but the staff could be warmer.

I have to give this place 5 stars as I have eaten here many many times over the last 25 years and I have never been disappointed. First time I’ve been in this year - the place has had a bit of a make over and is looking a bit lighter and brighter and more “designed”. The curious paintings of people have gone, to be replaced by much less fascinating but I guess more blandly pleasant pictures. The service and the food itself is still fantastic. Prices have gone up again but that’s to be expected. I seem to think the big fried seafood platter is not quite as big as it used to be (or we have got more greedy - did it used to have langoustines?). Maybe I’m getting old but I found the 90s pop music slightly too loud for conversation. Highly recommended for Italian seafood, pizzas and ice cream. Come here to enjoy good food but be warned - it’s not for cozy romantic eating, it’s a lively family place.

Excellent Italian eatery. Fresh and tasty food in a restaurant with a very cosy atmosphere.Marrocco's could get a bit busy at the front, especially when the sun's shining, but don't be put off as the queue usually tends to be for the ice cream and coffee that people take away.To dine in, walk in and get past the ice cream crowd. The restaurant is narrow. Tables to eat at are in a straight line on the right.

Not the best fish and chips and ice creams. Decent and a bit pricey. But quality and staffs are amazing!

I've had ice cream at this place plenty of times but this time decided to go for lunch and had the best pasta and bruschetta one can hope for! Very good wine selection as well, will be definitely going back for lunch/dinner!

Great little cafe who serve amazing ice creams. Such a variety of flavours. Also serve hot food for dine in or take away. Just across the road from hove seafront. Just remember on a sunny day the queue goes down the road!

Very authentic Italian gelato, Absolutely delicious! Almost gooey. Service was really friendly. If you're strolling the Brighton seafront, it's definitely worth holding out until you reach there.

Marroccos is as good as everyone says. Ice cream is great. Just try and avoid peak times or prepare to wait for awhile. The food in the restaurant has always been delicious every time I've been. They staff were attentive and friendly.

Had a lovely valentines dinner there this evening and were supremely looked after by our fantastic waiter.Special thanks to Carlo you made our evening!The seafood was just unreal and paired beautifully to our Piquepoul wine.10/10

We love this place! Best ice cream in Brighton & Hove and super friendly staff. Today was a little chilly so we asked if we could sit in for Ice cream and they were incredibly accomodating. Will be continuing to come every time we visit Brighton
