I highly recommend everything on the menu!The food is authentic, aromatic, clean and absolutely delicious.If you don't recognise anything on the menu, Jasmine will answer your questions, she's so lovely!The vegi samosas are weekly treat for me and my family and the Vegi lunch box is excellent value - a really decent portion too!The best aroma in the world is a beef dish they do. Makes me wish I wasn't vegan!!

This is a lovely pocket-friendly place serving the home-cooking style of food. Best place to go for some fresh and warm snacks after walking/playing in the park. The owner couple hasn't changed their price since they opened five years ago, and their service is excellent.

I have been visiting Mohammed Spice of Life restaurant for years now and I am never disappointed with either the food or the service I always receive. Their kind and wonderful cultural approach to great food and people is truly a breath of fresh air. Come browse in the famous Open Market before lunch, then take your lunch at Mohammed Spice of Life, you will learn something very nice and be very satisfied when you leave😊 I recommend their lamb curry and lentil soup

Highly recommend the onion bahji burger! Generous serving, delicious, and amazing value! Could easily pay a tenner for something similar elsewhere in Brighton but here is only a fiver comes with a drink too! And the lovely owner gave me a free samosa to try which was also delicious!

Fantastic first visit last Saturday with two friends. Got a really warm welcome and had some amazing food - it was so nice to meet the staff/owners in person and sample a place ive heard so much about! Will definitely return, A++++

The boss of the restaurant is not only genuinely kind but also decent chef. His gourmet food is delicious and I have been able to sense comfortable feeling after finishing his cuisine. Last time I could eventually have more than I had paid due to his kind complimentary. I appreciate all.

Disappointing after all the great reviews. King Prawn dansak with only tiny shrimps. A bit appalled by that. Beef in thick sauce was chewy, bland and oily. Small portions. But yes, awesome samosas. Maybe I got them on a bad day??

Really lovely place in the open market! Very friendly, homely and welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious- I highly recommend the pani puri, dosa, samosas, mango lassi and desserts. Going to have to go back to work my way through the menu 😊
