Happen to be in the area waiting for my bike to be serviced. Went to Mojo for breakfast. Shabby boho decor, table and chairs not matched for height. Limited menu. Opted for scrambled eggs and salmon. Stingy portion, overly salty flaked salmon. Not very nice. The kicker was a stingy portion breakfast and a cup of coffee cost £11.90. Who do they think they are ? The Ritz. I’ll pay good money for a good breakfast, this wasn’t the case.

One of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had, they also have paper lids on their takeaway cups which is great!

Just received another home delivery of delicious Mojo Coffee beans. Truly the best beans that Brighton has produced. Recommended!

Sadly the place have very bad coffee. First one was very watery and milky at the same time really horrible. then the second almost the same but was stronger. This is down to staff not having any professional training. Cake was really bland lacked for flavours and could taste the flour also layers aren’t even neither. again lacking for professional bakers. When you see it from outside you really think going to get a nice authentic coffee but is more like a low quality Boundary Road type of cafe.. they definitely could with new cups to serve their coffee with, its 2020 now feels like it’s a old people’s home. Staff was okay they didn’t like the fact coffee was sent back but when you pay nearly 8 pound for a coffee and cake should be at least half decent. Not great.

What a place to start your day at. Very friendly staff, delicious and fairly priced food. They've got amazing smoothies for such a cosy place. Students, you are welcomed here!

Lovely & lively place with good atmosphere. A little more cramped than some however, and the coffee is overpriced. Some of the most expensive coffee in Brighton, which doesn't match up to it's depressing Lewes Rd location. Some nice food selections, in particular their hot sandwiches. Soups are watery and nothing special. Staff are a mixed bag of extremely friendly or blunt/rude.

The cafe staff were very distracted and were laughing amongst each other while I was waiting at the till to make an order. I placed my order and I repeated specific food requirements twice. When the food came to the table, none of the requirements were met. We were extremely disappointed. Adding to this apparently they are trip advisor approved which does not reflect on them at all. The staff did not even know which table had ordered the dish. They just walk up to the table without plates and exclaimed loudly “are you waiting for food!” When we said no the staff moves on the next table. Not recommended at all! Please don’t waste your money on them!
