Moshimo in Brighton and Hove

This is a review for waiter Pablo who served us last night. Perhaps the best waiter we've ever experienced anywhere - he was attentive, friendly, entertaining and nothing was too much trouble. Pablo: you get five stars and I hope Moshimo knows what an asset they have.

Great team. We have nightmare food intolerance and they took care to ensure we had the right advice. Great menu. Very fresh fish. Easy parking.

My opinion, Moshimo is the best Japanese restaurant in Brighton. Been around since mid 2000s I think and I've always enjoyed the food.Lately they created plenty of Vegan options too which include Vegan Tuna and Salmon which taste delicious.Their sustainable fishing method also something good I support.See you again soon!

Was there for lunch, food was ok, staff was friendly. The sushi rice was over cooked so making the sushi stodgy, the small plates were ok... Salmon burger with katsu sauce- was a bit dry and the sauce was more terriyaki than katsu. Cod cheeks was fried fish in batter, pork ribs were ok, the softshell crab maki was a little disappointing too. Aubergine with miso... Overly salty, Edamame bean ordered without salt... Came watered down and still salty. Felt like they just washed away salt from a pre-made batch. Won't be going back and not worth going back.

A Brighton sushi staple - for a fun sushi belt experience with good quality sushi, come here! The menu can be a little pricey in comparison to other sushi places around, and I would argue that there isn't a huge variety. But! Regardless, it's well made, and you can choose an option where they bring the sushi to you in A BOAT

Had a wonderful lunch here with my daughter. Service was really efficient and friendly. Food was really very good, the sushi tasted very fresh and my daughter inhaled a significant amount of it. We also had some hot dishes which were very good, in particular the ribs in sticky soy, sesame and ginger sauce and the chicken yakitori.

Food was banging, so full, Ribs where juicy and succulent, Prawn tempura was crispy and fresh!Lovely staff, had one sushi chef working but still power through the night!Drinks were amazing and tasty.

Amazing food! It also great when I went today and I was lucky enough to spot a beautiful wedding outside of it. My only complaint is the unisex bathroom. It's not very nice for ladies especially.

Sushi, sake and pancakes what more could you ask for!!!If you love Sushil you will love this place. It has a great selection with some good picnic options. They have good indoor and outdoor seating options. This place also has good acholic drink options withe hot and cold sake and sake cocktails. If you've never tried sake(rice wine) would definitely recommend from here. The sushi is really good and fresh with lots of vegan options. The dessert pancakes as also really good with good filling options. Really loved this place!!
