This restaurant has a good vibe and great outdoor seating. The service Personal was very friendly and fast but yes but the food wasn’t that great. The presentation was ok but a bit on the rough side it did came very quick tough.I am also not sure but the soy sauce had a weird aftertaste but maybe is just that brand they are using and the wasabi was a bit strange as well.Miso aubergine probably deep fried with the skin becoming too hard.Overall for the price maybe not the quality and taste I would expected.

In all the years this has been open the shear quality of the food and service is STILL a full 5 star restaurant and a serious must for any sushi and very fresh dining 😋I took my 9 year old for her first ever sushi experience and she lived it so much its been a daily request since.Working on the coloured bowel system, just see something you like and grab it off the conveyer belt 😀 👍Everything is made and prepared fresh and right in front of your eyes and the prices for the portions are AMAZING!Drinks are on the pricy side, however for the amount of food you get for the price, its a easy trade off and does not affect the over all experience - for 2 of us eating one dish of every colour + 2 large soft drinks was under £21 (For the quality, you just can not beat that anywhere in Brighton!)This is one of the "must go to places" for anyone living in or visiting Brighton!

Great food ethics and incredibly delicious. I can't get enough. The staff are great, very helpful and informative, helping you choose from what could be a daunting menu for some.Decor is warm and snug, the atmosphere is lively with conversation, but feels private enough to talk freely.I always leave feeling full and very satisfied.

The atmosphere was great and the host was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was SO good. The salmon skin roll was my personal favourite along with the agedashi tofu. Service was quick, food was fresh and satisfying. I would definitely go again

Great team. We have nightmare food intolerance and they took care to ensure we had the right advice. Great menu. Very fresh fish. Easy parking.

My opinion, Moshimo is the best Japanese restaurant in Brighton. Been around since mid 2000s I think and I've always enjoyed the food.Lately they created plenty of Vegan options too which include Vegan Tuna and Salmon which taste delicious.Their sustainable fishing method also something good I support.See you again soon!

Was there for lunch, food was ok, staff was friendly. The sushi rice was over cooked so making the sushi stodgy, the small plates were ok... Salmon burger with katsu sauce- was a bit dry and the sauce was more terriyaki than katsu. Cod cheeks was fried fish in batter, pork ribs were ok, the softshell crab maki was a little disappointing too. Aubergine with miso... Overly salty, Edamame bean ordered without salt... Came watered down and still salty. Felt like they just washed away salt from a pre-made batch. Won't be going back and not worth going back.

A Brighton sushi staple - for a fun sushi belt experience with good quality sushi, come here! The menu can be a little pricey in comparison to other sushi places around, and I would argue that there isn't a huge variety. But! Regardless, it's well made, and you can choose an option where they bring the sushi to you in A BOAT
