Clean lines, wooden floor and seating, lots of bamboo and a menu covering all the Japanese staples.

Pre-booked dinner last night, was welcomed by very hospitable waiters. The atmosphere was nice, though it was a full house last night it didn't feel chaotic or crowded. The food was very lovely and I would definitely come again next time I'm in Brighton

Heard many great things about this restaurant and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Took the family here for a birthday celebration and had a very enjoyable evening. Chilled atmosphere, great staff and the food was excellent. Especially liked the spicy squid tempura washed down with a glass of Sake. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you.

Even if you look at the pictures, the food look bad. Not sure why they consider themselves as a Japanese restaurant they have NOTHING but poorly made, far from authentic, below average tasting food. I think it was the worse “Japanese” restaurant I've ever been.

Possibly our favourite Japanese restaurant in Brighton. We’ve only been to Japan once but to us it seems so authentic and reminds us of that trip. Brilliant selection on the menu and always lovely service.

Great service and amazing food! Came here with my partners family for his mums birthday this weekend and they were very tolerant of us all asking annoying questions and being loud.. especially the sweet waitress with purple hair who didn’t rise once to my father in law telling her to cheer up and smile! 😫 my boyfriend and I wanted the floor to swallow us up, but none the less we had a great evening and very impressed with the service.

The food is delicious! Couldn’t recommend it anymore, best Japanese in Brighton. Its real authentic, super healthy & crazy flavours. The vibe in the restaurant is lovely, bright & chilled. The waiter was really nice too & added to the experience. Will be coming back

Lovely little Japanese restaurant. Very friendly staff, and was fully booked, so phone up in advance. The good was authentic and delicious. A tad pricey, but we went in "eat out to help out".

Lovely presentation in a tiny little restaurant, ran by one staff. He was nice though. The place filled in quickly and I did not see the way to make a reservation in the website. So be quick or you may be disappointed. The place open sharp at 12:30.Food wise, they are of a bit small but reasonable portion. The £2.5 gyoza were delicious. Piping hot with crispy skin and the tangy source lightened up the dish. Teriyaki was not too authentic. Almost like chinese stir fry in a wagamama style. Sushi was fresh but the rice was a bit oversized, like those in sushi trains. Soba was a real treat! The aroma and texture were ideal. Tempura was not the best. They were okay. I can’t believe they serve half a chikuwa (竹輪) tempura. That was a bit mean. There are better authentic Japanese restaurants in Brighton, but this one is worth a try.
