Nando's - Brighton in Brighton and Hove

As a Portuguese myself, I can say that you'd get a better chicken at a takeaway in Portugal than what you get at Nando's, but of course, you're not in Portugal (or never been) so you're not obliged to know. In terms of the staff, you can clearly see they don't want to be there, everything's a chore. There's no table service, you must order everything via mobile or go to the till. Frankly, due to the type of clientele and the kind of service provided, it felt more like a posh McDonald's. Can't say I'd recommend it.

Small but busy Nandos restaurant - helpful and friendly staff. Food was served hot and was delicious as usual. Easy access to toilets and condiments were well stocked.

The food was great. 20min wait to go in but it soon passed by. Service at table via QR code I found easy and handy to use. You can go up to the bar and order also though if you really want to.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Brought the wrong order which was fine and we weren’t annoyed. The issue was they gave our vegetarian friend a meat one, we ordered two and the sides on this matched the vegetarian one not the meat. Upon realising it was fixed but they not only refused to refund the mess up as he had eaten some of it (unaware it was meat) but were really rude and confrontational in their handling of the situation.I don’t see why they wouldn’t refund one thing they messed up, I understand he had eaten some of it but how was he meant to know?

Nandos never disappoints. Saturday evening bit of a wait 25 minutes. Expected as we didn't reserve a table. Chicken butterfly peri salted chips and macho peas. Bottomless soft drinks. Food arrived quickly. Staff friendly. I'd rate this as a solid 10.

Helpful, friendly. Think it was the first time the staff ever opened a bottle of wine but they tried until we had to show them how it was done. Tbh who order wine at Nando’s 😂 made are evening and would go back again

Delicious chicken and sides. They have a few beer choices. Even the chips were really good. Delicious sauces. Very popular place, it was busy. Friendly staff.

The chicken is perfectly cooked, charred from the outside but soft and tender from the inside. You can choose the sauce and the level of spice to your liking. They also offer a big variety of sides to get with your butterfly chicken. The spicy rice is my favourite specially with the lemon garlic sauce that they offer.

Nothing special but I can't resist nice grilled chicken, and the range of hot sauces here are always great, I really like the garlic Peri-Peri.The rice is awful so 3 stars

Chicken, rice, chips very nice, service and halloumi was lacking, halloumi was rubbery and awfull, had to wait 15 mins for sauce from the kitchen to arrive after asking twice.
