OHSO Social in Brighton and Hove

Great place! Had fish and chips here and it was lovely! Huge pieces of fish, great tasting batter, and chips. The staff were friendly and attentive. We sat outside in one of their pods with the sun shining on us which was an added bonus. Would recommend. Toilet facilities just inside the door so no problems with access.

Staff was nice , we came from London to Brighton spontanously , booked tickets and had a same day trip. It was super windy and all gloomy outside was there with my 2 friends girls, they complained that we couldn't sit at the outside domes but unfortunately they were all taken ( I'm not the one for rushing people so understandable but we've been eating inside for over an hour I think and no one left the domes still ). I'm taking a star off as my friends complained a lot about dirty windows while staff had a lot of time to themselves ,which made us unable to take any nice pictures of the sea from inside the bar/ restaurant being a seaview bar/restaurant that should be a priority and something to so in free time. Other than that we had a bit to drink afterwards and all got sick and had stomach pain after getting back london which might be attributed to alcohol or the fish and chips we ordered. Not taking a star off for that as can't exactly tell if it was the food or not, however the food was very tasty. Easy to order by scanning a QR code on the table , possibly can order at the bar also if you're unable to use a phone.

After hearing a range of choices for breakfast we settled on this place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The service was a contemporary mix of what you'd expect in England with Spanish flair.

Lovely restaurant, amazing food and brilliant service!!My partner and I visited Ohso for a last minute evening meal and it was perfect. The staff were extremely accommodating and we got to eat in the igloos on the sea front.How to order was explained extremely well and the service was very speedy.The food was delicious and the cocktail tree was perfect for 2 to share.We will definitely be visiting again

We held our wedding reception at Ohso Social in Oct 2021 and had exclusive hire.From day 1 Daisy was just wonderful, supporting us through menu chocies and tasting and really listening to what we wanted our wedding day to be.On the day everything was just perfection.The venue was set just as we had requested and Daisy was there on the day checking in with me and my husband throughout to make sure we were happy and looked after.Staff were super friendly and attentive and really understand good customer serviceThere were no long waits at the bar which is always a concern at a large function.Food was out of this world- fresh, filling and really tasty.Bar has a great range of beers, spirits, cocktails and wines.We cannot thank Ohso enough for sharing our special day. Our guests were blown away by everything about the venue-location, staff, food, drinks and atmosphere.Thank you Daisy and team for so many wonderful memories. We can't wait to come back and see you soon x

Great setting by the beach enjoying some drinks. Staff were lovely and very attentive but we did wait a bit long for a coffee and a beer at the time we went.

Long queue to enter despite many tables free - the reason, head of house was greeting people, taking them to tables, cleaning random tables and also moving umbrellas around. Zero urgency, baffling as to why the front of house is tasked with cleaning and moving furniture around when there’s a huge queue outside. Once seated, no one came to collect our order for a significant time, then after going to the bar to try and obtain drinks ourselves we were told it had to be table service. Felt bad for the table staff to be honest, it’s bank holiday weekend and they’re clearly extremely understaffed and inexperienced. Owner needs to have more people and at least someone experienced on the floor to organise the service. If I had to choose a photo to sum up our experience today, it would be the umbrella.

Great quick service, nice table in the sunshine whilst sat listening to a live singer. Food was quick and lovely. Our dog was made very welcome.

It's a good place to have some drinks and enjoy the beach atmosphere. The service was a bit slow. Food was really good and prices are fair. Overall, a good place to visit.
