Always a delight to eat here, owner is always doing his best to please and the food cannot be faulted.Reasonable prices at the end of the night just highlight the pleasure of the evening still further.We will be back again for sure.

Garlic Chicken Tikka Balti(Indian style i.e. no sugar, no colour and spicy) was excellent and so was the Mix Veg Balti. Better than most London Indian restaurants. Would definitely come back and would recommend.

Great food, lovely staff and reasonable prices. Well known to locals as a good place to eat in St James's Street. Don't hesitate to pop in.

Had a wonderful meal this evening with generous portion size, value for money, delicious and great service...it has newish owners, so give it a go !!

Stayed a few nights in Brighton and called Pavel for a table polite and friendly on the phone Excellent food friendly service looking forward to visting again soon :D

Not the best restraunt .... very slow 10 people walked out after 1 hour coz they took to long to cook people there food.... lot lessons need to be learnt or ur going to lose lot more customers with this mind set...

Just had a takeaway from Pavel Indian… and what a disappointment! I ordered tandoori king prawn as a main course….. l got 3 prawns! Most takeaways will give you 6. No mint sauce with salad, or the popadoms. In fact, no little cartons of sauces at all!The restaurant’s saving graces were the nan breads, and salad! Nan breads were great and salad was very fresh and crisp!But come on you guys, 3 tandoori king prawns as a main course! What a rip-off!

Lovely tasty food and most important not too salty. Good value and good service.

I have eaten Indian cuisine all over the world Britain, South Africa, USA, Europe Asia and I can't think of a place that beats this Pavel restaurant in St James Street Brighton. This on all counts, taste, spice use, There was plenty of it to suit the more hungry too, service, and price. I bought a second meal as a takeaway to eat in the morning after because I wanted to wake up to that taste I experienced last night. I can't rate this place enough. Well done Pavel. I will probably be back tonight.

Food was ok, but two guys managing the entire restaurant resulted in delayed service!! Had to wait a long time and when wanted to reorder the waiter declared "it will take long time, and it's better you don't order". Bad hospitality, won't visit again.
