Pinocchio in Brighton and Hove

Not a friendly restaurant to dine in, and when combined with three attempts to give us someone else's food, it means I definitely won't be going back.

This place is a Brighton Institution... We used to visit all the time when the kids were young because it was such great value and the staff always made the kids feel so welcome. Kids grew up and we hadn't visited for years, but kids were back for Xmas so decided to go last week for old times sake. The staff are still just as welcoming and the food is better than ever (but still good value). Some interesting veggie/vegan options too! Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere amazing food and big portions and how about a £15 3 course meal ! Bloody bargin if you ask me especially when the food is so tasty you can always squeeze some more down you even if you're going to pop !

We booked a table and ate here for my birthday. It's been ages since I've been here. Both the food and the service are of top quality.

Big portions, really good price, and most importante: food was delicious!! What else can you ask for. Oh yeah: lots of tables inside and outside. I enjoyed it a lot. Only thing is I think they were a bit understaffed and all waiters were working non stop but even with them making a big effort and being nice to everyone, some things took a bit longer - like we waited a lot for one Coke. But apart from that, perfect!

This little Italian really is a gem. The staff were amazing, the girl who serves us was so lovely offering recommendations and offering to take photos for us. We couldn’t get over how insane the quality of the food was for the price. Would love to go back when visiting Brighton again!

Great food, well priced, lovely staff and the desserts are to die for! I'm unable to use stairs so appreciate that there's a toilet downstairs for disabled patrons.

I went on to try something I already like but something of a more calibre. I went to a place in Brighton called Pinocchio. Which is a kind of famous Italian restaurant and I haven't really had proper Italian food besides Bella Italia and Zizzi.I already had high expectations but not too high as it's better to keep your expectations low and be surprised. The restaurant decorations was very old fashioned but pretty.The menu was very big and had a lot of food items but I wanted to keep it simple and so I ordered a mozzarella pizza and a pasta which I forgot the name to unfortunately. The food actually tastes fairly decent and wasn't that bad and the prices were okay and not too expensive I'd say.There is still a lot of room for improvement and is definitely the best Italian restaurant in the UK that I've been to. So I do recommend this as well7/10.
